It should appear in next weeks edition of The Richmond and Twickenham Times, but I was grinning inanely so I'm not so sure I want to see it now! Well done Tess! Glad to hear that you finally got a diagnosis on your shoulder problem (though not what it was). Hope you will soon be back on cooking duties. Make the most of the rest while you can. Lots of other shoulder injuries around at the moment too. Us women work our bodies too hard! Jules, I hope that you have positive news about Tess injury. Amy, glad your visit went well. Jazz, congratulations on your new 'foster'. As for 'friends', if I was going to give that kind of advice to my friend I would make sure I did it in private where we could have a discussion about it, not shout about it in public where you couldnt defend yourself! CT, Can you let ex know (maybe via his family) that you all onto his games? And definately get the police involved and get your number changed. Jules, hope its not STILL work that is rubbish in your life! For all those suffering the JOY....NOT of work. Nige, hope your friend can get the help that he needs now and will be safe now he is in a secure unit. My aunt went through something similar a few years ago and a few months of special care brought her out the other side. Something that wouldnt have happened without the specialist care. I am back to work tomorrow after my week off. I have a weeks work to catch up on as well as stocktake and half year end audit, not to mention trying to buy a house in the next 5 weeks! I may need another holiday very soon. On the positive side, both dogs seem to have coped very well with being in kennels for a whole week though both have very stinky bottoms for some reason, though I sent them with their food and daily chew treat! Can I have a special fathers day hoorah for my dad He's 80 in November and did a 4 mile fun run today in under 40 minutes. He was the oldest competitor and was dead chuffed to receive a golfing umbrella (he doesn't play ) and a folding chair, with cup holder Marian as a prize. He declined a fathers day lunch with my sister as "He was out on a date". It gives me hope that old age is often what we make of it.My sister goes clubbing at 55 so now Ive hit 50 I intend having a bit of my life for me. Additionally a lot of things I was expecting to happen have not or have gone wrong or needed more of my time than I had available and some people have just been causing me a lot of additional work. All of which had nothing to do with the person I shouted at today when my camels back broke with a sodding silly non dogstar related straw I have really and I mean really have hurt and upset someone who has done nothing wrong ( and even if they had shouting is not the answer anyway ) this person has done nothing but be supportive and help me and i bloody lashed out and hurt their feelings on top of that the Dogstar website homepage has broken after a routine software update and as I am the entire sum of Dogstars web team ( something else that someone else was meant to do , screwed it up and then walked away without a backward glance) I now have to work out what I bloody broke and how in earth I am going to fix it. I suspect its something to do with incompatible software but thats as far as I have got so far. I have a dreadful fear that I am going to have to re install and start from scratch which would be the mother of all arse aches even if I could manage it so in 4 days I need to try and convey just how deeply sorry I am to the person I hurt ( have already said that but they don't want to hear from me at the moment ) fix an entire website , pack for 2 people to go to Sri Lanka and carry out my day to day Charity jobs like I said b*****ks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Write to the person so that they can read your apology and re read it again when they have calmed down. You are under intolerable pressure and only those that are responsible for a large number of living beings can really get it but trust me lots of us do get it and especially the abandonment by people who promise to share the journey and then dont. Its not our personal hobby, its a donation of our time and energy to make something better. Theres no prize or reward. You are valued so dont forget it and learn to forgive yourself sometimes. I shall hang around techie forums until some 16 year old genius takes pity on me and helps me though it. I may be some time....................... snow Posted June 21, 2010 Report Share Posted June 21, 2010 Wonderful start to the week, sun is shining, the birds are probably chirping only I can't hear them over the murder inducing sounds of someones yappy dog thats been turfed out into the garden and left to bark itself hoarse and the delightful sound of the streets nosiest child barking back at said dog and screaming shutttttttttttt uppppppppppppp at the top of his foghorn like lungs. Just where the adults of 2 bloody households are who are responsible for said dog and child are I have no fecking idea they seem to be blissfully deaf - unlike the rest of the estate who have been enduring the racket since before 7am! griff Posted June 21, 2010 Report Share Posted June 21, 2010 sam i am sure when things have calmed down a bit the person whose feelings got hurt will accept your apology well done Chickentikkas dad i spent yesterday yelling at the kids next door..... the little sh*ts have started throwing things at diez again.... stopped when i went and yelled and i made sure that every piece of crap they threw at her got returned (i can see myself being locked up before too long.... it will be well worth it!) add to that they have now got a dog.... hopefully they are looking after it as laney is very unimpressed and is voicing his opinion (any ideas how to convince him to be quiet???) why would you either get or look after somebodys dog when your own brat has no respect for animals??? the way the kids are with animals the poor dog will probably end up taking a bite at the kids...i wouldn't blame him/her at all, the dog must have the patience of a saint (i do like children.... i just don't like children without manners.... and more importantly i despise kids who are cruel to animals) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
