Hi blackmagic 🙂 Just been to the place where I usually walk Jac. Car park was packed! Luckily it's a big area so easy to keep your distance, although walked round with some of our mates. I suppose people are getting stir crazy and can't go to the pub or shopping.

I'm having an Asda delivery this afternoon. There are 7 items missing and numerous substitutes. The only one I'm faffed about is my cheesecake 😕

Getting out on lots of walks with Jac, so I'm chatting to people I know. We've had over two hours today and Jac's jiggered 😴 He's not the only one. Eve & Marion if you want to add me on WhatsApp send me a msg and I'll let you have my number.

Morning. Speaking to a colleague yesterday whose wife works the make up counter in Debenhams and apparently most of the people coming in panic buying are elderly women buying make up 🥴 Jac's loving having his mum home all the time and going for longer walks, so he gets to do more zoomies with his mates 🥰🐶🥰🐶 I'm a bit stir crazy so need to get out for longer. Work is just as hectic though and wfh'ing doesn't stop idiots being idiots 🙄

I'm not staying in the house but am keeping my distance from other people.

Thanks Eve and Yantan 😗 I dont use Whatsap as it's a bit confusing for me but I may need to get it 🤪 Jac is keeping me sane at the moment and he's happy to be getting more walks and seeing other dogs 🐶 He played zoomies with a gorgeous Shiba Inu yesterday, which is one of my fave breeds 🥰 Sorry suzeanna, I missed your earlier posts so please have an ehug from me n Jac.

Evening. Hope everyone's ok. Still sending tons of positive thoughts to Ruby. I'm working from home for the foreseeable. I thought this would make me happy, but I'm getting anxious about it. I don't have a lot of social contact anyway and even though I wfh a couple of days a week, the days that I'm in the office keep me sane. In addition to wfh, I'm also self-isolating. Even though I'm not in the high risk group, I'm in the group that is likely to be badly affected if I do get it. I know I'm luckier than a lot of people in this climate, but I just wish it would all be over then we can all get back to normal. Just thankful though that it's the type of illness that most people recover from - it could have been so much worse.

Hi kats n greys 🙂 Work is driving me nuts but I'm working from home today so will take a late lunch and de-stress with a nice long walk with my boy. Does anyone know the best free photo hosting website, from where I could post links like you could with Photobucket? I stopped using them when they started charging. Just been for a long walk through muddy fields, very draining. In addition to which Jac played zoomies and wrestling with some other dogs. Both knackered now so were going to have a nap on the sofa 😴

Had a lovely time at Rivington on Saturday, despite the weather. Jac had a little swim, which us brave for him 🥰 Had the results of his DNA test back. I have always wondered where his curly tail and thick coat comes from and it turns out he's 35% Samoyed, so that makes sense. He's 25% Border Collie, 18.5% Collie and the rest is Supermutt. Hope you feel better soon jazz.

Certainly getting me fit having a young dog again 🐶 Work is manic as we're a man down and I'm having to pick up a lot of the work as well as my own projects, which are busy enough as it is. Walking Jac is my way of de-stressing. He's got a lovely new friend called Clive. They luffs each other 😍 We're going to Rivington on Saturday. Been wanting to go for ages but never quite made it so I'm quite excited.

Thanks Marion, might do that but I have to do some work with Jac first as he's a bit scared of people so a pub isn't the ideal environment 🙄 but I am working to get him more used to them and he'll probably be ok as long as we can sit outside. suzeanna that would be great, hopefully we'll get some sunny weather and we can get something arranged. There's a six month old Newfoundland who was following Jac about on our walk this afternoon. She loves him but he tends to ignore her. Doesn't stop her though and she is thoroughly adorable 🥰 Just had a chat with the lady at Dogs Trust and Lily's met her new owners today, who've been on the waiting list for a pup since November. She'll be the only dog so will be the centre of attention. Shes currently sharing a kennel with a 10 month old German Shepherd and apparently they've been curling up together 🥰

Marion is Tye dog friendly? I'm looking to take Jac on various adventures over the spring/summer and we've not been to the Lake District yet 😏 We're going to South Wales in June to visit rellies and my aunt loves dogs so he's coming with. Looking forward to taking him to Mumbles for a nice swim in the 'wide open' sea. We've been to West Kirby a couple of times and it's nice but it's very different to the beaches of South and West Wales (although I may be biased). Had a lovely walk this morning then went to The Range and bought more new toys for Jac. He is totally spoilt 🙄

A dry trim costs me £10.50. Last of the big spenders 🤭 Jac woke me at 12.45 cos he wanted to go out for a wee, which is fair enough, but he didn't have to do it by play bouncing on top of me 🙄 Just to clarify I haven't got another dog. Bruno is a dog we see out and about that Jac plays with. It feels really quiet with just me n Jac. Its lovely to have that one on one time cos I haven't had just one dog for nearly 18 years, but Jac is the most laid back collie I've ever had so I find myself waking him up to play with me lol. I thought he'd howl being left on his own while I'm at work but I've been watching him on the smart cam and he just curls up by the door waiting for me to come home 🥰

Hi everyone. Hope you all had a good Christmas 😊 Unfortunately, for a number of reasons, our home wasn't suitable for Lily, so she's being rehomed through a reputable rescue. One of their staff runs a collie group so Lil may be rehomed through them, which would be ideal for her as she'd love to do agility or flyball. Not an easy decision but I'm certain it's the right one for Jac and Lil. Jac appears to prefer older dogs as his new Bessie is a 13 year old collie cross called Bruno 🥰

I am reluctant to crate her for a couple of reasons. Firstly she was crated lots in her last home and she howled. Secondly I've tried her in a crate once and she got so upset she almost brought the crate down on herself. I think I am going to have to try her in the kitchen behind the dog gate so her and Jac can still see each other.

I do have a camera set up but obvs can't watch her all day 😕 I have tried chilli sauce but she likes the taste. Morning. Came home last night to find I had no power to any of the sockets in the house, including the fridge freezer. Wasn't sure how long the power had been off. On investigation, and after unplugging everything in the house, realised that The She Devil 👿 had chewed through the cable of a portable radiator, which must have blown the sockets. She also chewed through another laptop charger, despite me hiding all wires down the back of the sofa 👿 I feckin hope she grows out of this phase soon cos I can't cope with much more 🤬
