dirtychicken
Ok. So this was Flora's bottom on Saturday.... and this was Flora's bottom on Monday Bruising is all gone Her fur is obviously itching as it grows back through, so she is taking advantage of having access to grass again She would quite like this lead removed - thankyouverymuch - so that she can go and kill the ball properly... And she is just back to being my beautiful, happy, content girl All of the good thoughts, wishes, gifts, prayers, Reiki and support have been what has got my girl here - and me! - and neither of us can possibly thank you enough

Nettie
Sarah, good grief how quickly has she healed, that is simply fantastic, hopefully the internal healing is going as well as the external. So please that Flora has no longer got pain and she's feeling so much better - she's looking really great.
Laurel n Hardy
Well, I am not in the least bit surprised. This is the first time in many months that she has been out of pain. But please be strong and don't give in to her. This will be the hardest part for you but I don't need to say how important it is that she doesn't have any free time at the moment. Just think what she is going to be like in 3 months time !!!!!!!!!!! very true so pleased you have your Flora back, and loads of good thoughts heading her way for a total and speedy recovery. May be at Langford dog day this year if I can make it hope to see Flora & crew there too

dirtychicken
May be at Langford dog day this year if I can make ithope to see Flora & crew there too When is it, Nige? We'll certainly be doing what we can to support them I am forcing her to take it easy which means that instead of her enjoying the comfort and safety of her gorgeously padded crate, she is laying in there and glaring at me but she *has* to go out for toilet breaks and the second she feels the fresh air on her face, she turns into a spring lamb She's getting so excited at being outside that she completely forgets that she needed a wee One of her favourite people in the world came to visit today for the first time since the op and he was shocked at how well she is and by the fact that she was trying to give her normal greeting of jumping all over him so had to hold her very firmly by the collar to keep her feet on the floor When she's allowed to spend a bit more time out of the crate, I think we'll be working on that I had another sign that she is going to be an even nicer dog to live with once she's all better yesterday because my neighbour came in with the incorrigible Cooper. We kept Cooper out of the way as Flora came out for a wee and she barked with delight at my neighbour who, instead of employing the typical reaction of backing off, recognised the bark for what it was and stepped up to Flora with a treat and Flo just sat on her feet and wiggled with delight at meeting somebody new Hopefully, this indicates that re-socialising her isn't going to be anywhere near the problem that I worried that it was going to be Edited April 14, 2009 by dirtychicken

I was really worried for you both for a while. The smile on Flora's face say more than words ever could. She is going to be unbearable when she tries to collect all those kisses and cuddles that she has been missing! People will be eaten alive! I can not wait to arrange her special Brean walk.
