Sam, you never fail to impress and humble me with your dedication to helping other people, and your ability to make it happen :flowers:

thats a really nice thing to say Abby Thank you , but seriously any one here would have done what I did if they had been in my place and all the people I asked to help did straight away and it only took about 10 hours and about 80 quid which we clubbed together and there was bit of money left over to buy the childern some toys and books as well

the most difficult thing was choosing the colours , which were Ice Blue and Bentota Green in the end

Clever Fleur

Well done Mags for passing your test :bike:

Hope the staffie is OK Ange, you did your best.

Love the pics of those little lads Sam, their little beaming faces are

Would anyone like a plum? Sainsbugs were selling £3.49 punnets of organic plums last night for 40p. So now I have many plums and no idea what to do with them

I have woken up under a big :bur2: this morning, not quite sure why.

Morning

My rummage du jour unearthed the long lost and much sought charger for an old Orange PAYG phone. All I have to do is get a sim card and I can have it up and running as a backup for areas with no other signal. Lots of those round here.

Phebe, I have a couple of new orange sims here if you would like one :flowers:

Due to a major malfunction and total loss of program files, my OH has had to put the comp back to factory settings and still hasn't put most of the things back on, no sound yet..no email.

I went to the doctor..again!..last night, and she is sending me for an ultrasound scan. That's nice, I go to the knee lady at the hospital today, the haematologist next Friday, and then whenever the ultrasound is. That's going to be a bit in parking fees then, assuming I can manage to park in the first place! She thinks there may be something wrong with my spleen..or possibly kidneys.

Thank you chasta, that is very kind :flowers: I will PM you my address.

suzeanna :GroupHug: hope the problem can be diagnosed and treated soon.

Have had porridge but have to make toast, which we don't usually have at breakfast. New hammy Suki expects an ickle tiny piece of toast for breakfast every day, I'm told  so she and Petal can have mini portions and the dogs and I can share the rest.

Weather here is mega vile this morning, heavy rain & gales, and not much sign of it letting up. Everyone is asleep and even the snails are sulking in the back of their shells.

Hope you get on OK, with both the appointments and the parking. I went to my gp a few weeks ago with what I thought was a minor problem and have ended up with two referals to specialists at the hospital. I've opted for a hospital a bit further away as parking at our local one is nigh on impossible - I'd rather drive a bit further and be certain of getting to the appointment on time.

Morning :wavey:

I yam feeling a little worse for wear this morning, I had 2 1/2 glasses of wine last night and now I feel gippy  I'm such a lightweight these days.

I yam also composing my list of stuff to do today. Tis long, but I will get there. OH will get stuck in and what's ready by tonight is what will be ready

Must remember at some point to shower and make myself a little bit respectable....

Morning

Not in work today as woke up with a hellish migraine after being put through the emotional wringer last night, not a night I wish to live through again :(

I have learnt in my life that many people are generally a waste of good space and oxygen so why do I continue to be surprised by it? They lurk amongst us everywhere, even those we think are ok turn out not to be
