snow
You know forums and sharing things can be soooo handy, I'm in agony again with another Bartholins - off to Dr's at 11am couldn't remember the last time it flared up that resulted in a Dr's appointment but knew I'd posted about it ... a couple of clicks later and I know for a fact it was 1st April 2011. Hoping like hell this Dr will just do the same as my previous Dr and trust me I just want AB's - she can try and drain it if she wants, I'll even go to the minor injuries unit if they can do it but I am NOT going into Hosp or A&E. merledogs
I think there are two problems, it's blocked and the pipe isn't connected to the one which runs outside properly. I'm so sad that Diesel the Belgian Shepherd was killed by a terrorist this morning. Should never have been sent into such a dangerous situation, poor thing. Yantan
I agree Alex about the dog. Poor thing. I'll bet Diesel's handler is heartbroken. It made me really sad to hear it on this morning's news. Also I hope you get the loo problem sorted pdq. We are having a wonderful time here in NYC - or was until last night when I fell down the steps of the St. James's theatre and banged myself up to the point of having a hard time walking today - hence why I am back at the hotel resting in the middle of the day. I felt such a fool as I became the centre of attention as I lay on the side walk unable to get up! Everyone around me were incredibly kind and helpful though. They say 9/11 changed the city and for me the biggest change is in the people. Where they were pretty abrasive, if not down right rude, last time I was here back in 1980 they are friendly and polite now. So yesterday we had breakfast in Ellen's Starlight Diner where the servers all sing to you. The'll take your order, deliver it and next thing they have a mic in their hand singing. It was bloody fantastic and we had a blast! We had a helicopter ride over the city yesterday which was simply amazing but gave us pause for thought as we flew towards and then past the new One World Trade Centre. Last night we rode in a stretch limo to Sardi's for dinner before the show. I'm so glad we packed so much in the first 3 days now my ability to get around has been comprimised. Tomorrow night we see Billy Joel at Madison Square Gardens. Snow stay well please missus! Thinking of you mate. suzeanna
Oh dear Snow...would wam bath with salty water help? Awful about the fatalities at the steel works. Ewww Alex...not fun at all! Yantan, do be careful and keep on having a great time! I just read a warning on my OH's FB page about peanut butter and wondered if it was a scam Apparently not,it's about some peanut butters that are being made with xylitol as a sweetener. If you use it as a treat for your dog, you could kill it! It's mostly specialist butters from health shops, but still I would have thought they should put out warnings about it.
