Had made some headway on studying this morning. Am just worried my hand is going to fall off with all the writing (have had a sore thumb for weeks now, not sure why).

RMF : I am glad I hoiked my sarnie toaster out - am having another cheese toastie (low fat cheese, nimble bread).

Had a nice walk with the dogs until the cat decided to come with us and get lost halfway round the woods  called my aunty to check on my nan as she had an appointment with the oncologist yesterday..... i don't understand what the hecks going on, my nan is convinced the doctors are going to do her in  she is going for another scan to see how the tumours have grown which will hopefully let us know if they are fast or slow growing.

Went to Exeter today. Twas a lovely drive, very eerie at first will mist lying in the valleys , all blue and haunted in the bright sun.

Went to Clovelly yesterday - pronounced clove-elly apparently, not Clove-ly as I was saying it. Anyway it is a fantastic private village, cobbled streets and historical stuff but as we didn't get there till early afternoon and its an all day thing we didn't go in (cos you have to pay) but are going back to do the whole thing properly.

Anyhoo, while we were there we noticed a helicopter in the corner of the car park but we couldn't get close to it 'cos it was all coned off but on seeing it was "Harrods Air" we got talking to the guy who was guarding it and apparently it was some film people come to look at the place. When he said "Tim Burton or someone" I got all excited and gave him a short lecture on the Tim Burton/Helen Baxendale/Johny Depp thingy so now he knows who Tim Burton is!!

So, learned something - Harrods have a fleet of Helicopters for hire. Next time anyone is planning a hen night................ (beats a stretch limo)

How exciting. Don't you mean Helena Bonham Carter? unsure.gif Unless he's been shagging Helen Baxendale as well laugh.gif

Mrs B, just because you have been risked assessed at your desk, doesnt mean that the sitting position isnt a problem. Or indeed something that you do when you are sitting? Have you tried sitting at a different desk/different chair?

Alex, my favourite toastie (being veggie) is cheese, beans and mushrooms. When the others have a friday sandwich (cooked) thats what I have.

Griff, hope you had good news about the scans. :GroupHug:

Mrs B. that's no good. When I hurt my neck, the day would start ok and go quickly downhill. I took to tying a scarf round my shoulders to stop me hurting so much, when I explained this to the osteopath they explained to me why my madness had been helping me.

I would really recommend trialling different specialists until you find one that fixes your problem or come to Reading and try my osteopath, I can't recommend him highly enough for resolving pain that I have lived with for still amounts of time because others couldn't find the problem and so ended up with lots of short term fixes :flowers:

Morning, I kinda get you there Michelle. Juggling timings around new girlie is fun, but we will get there.

She has settled in so well, we are taking it slowly with Tia and working through baby-gates. I'd rather take more time now and hopefully reap the benefits long term.

My Uncle's funeral today, not looking forward to it. Even though I get to see Mum, Dad & my sister.
