  6. Wow! Hot but fun weekend at The Agility Club Show in Ardingly this weekend. Didn't start the best having a puncture actually on the showground but got better from there.... Glen clear in Anysize Jumping...just to keep his paw in. Luna 1 jumping and 2 agility clear rounds, she is getting better each time now. Molly 4th in the Teams event (four dogs run as a relay) and 2nd in the Agility Club Starters Final, you have to qualify for this during the year and you run in the evening, with lots of people watching ringside and a commentator talking about you and your round as you work....scary!! The next photo is of some of our club members and their results this weekend, I am so lucky to belong to such a friendly and supportive club.
  7. Don't worry Sophie...Glen wasn't bothered, it happens

  9. He didn't have a choice, my car was parked sideways across the front of his cab! I called the Police and the did the exchange stuff, I might have lamped him!!
  10. Hello all, I had a fun Friday yesterday.....I got hit by a lorry! I was heading back to my office on the M25 and a foreign lorry clipped my rear wheel arch spun me round a bit then slammed into the passenger side of the car!! Thankfully I am OK and nothing else hit me after the initial crash, I confess I was a little bit hysterical female just after but calmed down fairly soon after. So far I am a bit stiff but not too sore but we will see.......wasn't what I had planned for my Friday I can tell you!
  11. I know, and things will settle down. It was just a bit of a bolt from the blue this morning and I felt bad because I wasn't with him
  12. Suzanna, hope everything is OK. Behave young Archibald Bit wibbly here, OH has not been feeling too great lately with various things. Finally got him to go to the doctors Monday, he had to give a urine sample and was set to have a blood test in 10 days time. Find out Tuesday evening that he had missed a call from the Dr asking him to come back in sooner for a blood test! He went this morning (I couldn't go as was 'out' working, I then get a phone call from very upset hubby as he has basically been diagnosed with Type2 Diabetes Of course he hasn't taken everything in that was said to him but they apparently debating him to go direct to hospital from Dr's surgery!! He has some testing to do and another appt tomorrow morning which I will go to with him...not the worst thing he could have but will mean changes. He normally has 3-4 spoons of sugar in his tea.
  13. Thought I'd give you a laugh, this was a training session, the work was good....the fall....well
  14. Here's Molly showing how it should be done - 2nd place in the large steeplechase
  15. This was here agility round, I was trying to not do the seesaw, but she had other ideas!
  16. Luna's first time in the competition ring...wasn't she good?!
  17. Here is my little pocket rocket Luna having a go at the steeplechase today in our club challenge
  18. You could try that...again with the tunnel we start only with a very short straight rigid tunnel and gradually make it longer then put bends into it. Lots of sweeties when he gets it. Our small/medium dogs start jumping at Micro height which is about 3-4 inches and the larger dogs all start on small...we then build the height up from there. The A-frame is flat to start with, then just slightly up on a block and raised gradually from there, dog walk again is on trestles so only 2-3 foot high and no seesaw until a few months down the line. I would say Archie for his height and age should only jump medium.
  19. Sounds like fun Yantan although I don't think the dogs should have necessarily been doing all that stuff even on a taster night. Our new dogs start on very low jumps as they have to learn to jump properly, same with the equipment as they can scare or hurt themselves easily with full height stuff especially the seesaw! Glen will still do fun stuff, he is only 8 but doesn't really love the agility, he does it to please me and he would rather be flirting with the girls (and boys) or getting cuddles from people.
  20. I do, I can ask if she will contact you Lesley
  21. Had a lovely weekend of agility again...two different shows with Molly getting places in Grade 3 classes on Saturday and even managing to WIN her Grade 3 Jumping today!! Nice to see a fellow Fugee at both shows even if Kia doesn't like getting her paws wet So proud of our club as well who are doing very well and we have a great team spirit with the dogs happiness always coming first. One of girls has just won into Grade 7 (top grade) today so mega happy for her and Tilly (min Schnauzer). Glen retired from competitive agility today and had cake...he was very happy!
  22. Love this shot!! The agility club running the show has a 'pre-show' competition which is held on Broad Haven Beach. Prior to that my friend and I walked some of the coastal path from Broad Haven and out past Little Haven...beautiful!!
  23. At the moment they are on a cork board
  24. Funnily enough Sam...yes, but they will be mostly processed tomorrow. Here is one of me and the collies with their prizes and this is a group pic of our club friends who were all at PBTP...we did rather well!!
