Its so sad that we draw to the end of this year with so much sadness. It seems to be across the board at the minute with everyone having a hard time. Didn't look at the clock but tossed and turned and couldn''t get back to sleep, so eventually looked at the clock and it was 5. Reckon I'd been awake for about an hour by that point, which means I woke at 4 again. Any suggestions for getting out of this pattern would be very welcome Once I break up for Christmas next Wednesday, it probably won't happen until I go back to work on 4th January. Alex could Max be doing his tinkle as soon as you go upstairs? I don't think so, because it has that fresh hot pee smell in the morning (you know what I mean). I took him to bed last night cos I couldn't be bothered to get the crate out of the car (was bedtime when I remembered). He had peed when I got home from work as well, which doesn't normally happen This morning in Sri Lanka we lost our foster pup Fudge to Parvo , Back in the UK things are not great dog wise either , Just got back from Mums , Gracie Squirrel is not a well at all. She has some health problems but basically tonight she has let us know she has had enough and I am calling the Vets first thing in the morning to take her in for her final journey. Rather bittersweet as tomorrow is her 14th Birthday. Grandma Squirrel is as you can imagine in floods of tears already Sleep tight beautiful fudge For Gracie Squirrel and Grandma Squirrel Sorry I haven't been keeping up very well. My thoughts with your mum, if this is definitely goodbye I hope all goes well with your job, fingers and eyes crossed here! Owl, are you ok after your fall? How did you manage it, is it still slippery there? We got up the hill to my daughter's place last weekend to feed her cats and do the litter trays, but if it snows again we might not make it this one. RMF...our outside loo has been killed by the freezing temperatures, the water in the bowl and cistern had frozen solid and now it has thawed a ruddy great chunk of the bottom of the bowl is broken. I should be on my way to Argos right now but I can't be arsed. There'll no doubt be billions of people. Have you tried going to bed later? I can feel a cold sore starting to grow on my mouth I'm hoping for some good news today, my Mother has gangrene in her foot and the doctors were saying on Friday that she could end up losing her toes. I bought some Laura Ashley silk shades on there. They arrived and not only were they not Laura Ashley (they are still in the wrapping and it's not Laura Ashley) and they aren't real silk either.
