merledogs Posted January 7, 2009 Author Report Share Posted January 7, 2009 (edited) We are back The vet I saw works in Oncology and he said Lymphoma is by far the most common cancer they see, and he thinks that it is "highly unlikely" that Max has lymphoma Obviously he can't rule it out completely but the next step would require a needle to be inserted into Max's eye for a sample to be taken and they don't have anyone there that has done this before. There does seem to be something going on in the eye, but he said I should see an Opthalmologist as they don't have one there (the one they had has gone off to Australia). He took a blood test to check Max's blood again as he was due back next week for a check up anyway and I have booked Max back to see my own vet on Friday at 5pm to see where we go from here. The two little marks inside Max's eye on the photo I took Saturday morning seem to be getting smaller and he is brighter than he has been for a couple of months Edited January 7, 2009 by merledogs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
