Found my diary. Was under a pile of clothes  Alex I do have a calendar on my phone but I like having a little book to take with me. Bit old fashioned when it comes to books as I refuse to use anything like a kindle or ebook. Give me a real book anyday

So glad its Friday although I feel today is going to drag

I'm 62 ( it scares me when I see that written down  ) and a 36G and the ogling hasn''t stopped yet. It was just that it was particularly bad today! Maybe I should feel flattered at this advanced age?

Hardly. There are some apologies for men who think they can do that because they think you will be grateful to be noticed at all. They are ageist as well as sexist and can just bog off.

The wandering ridgeback x who we were tracking has been seen again, back on this side of Chesterfield but quite a way north of his home and not that far from where I live. He has been out nearly a month and is probably getting bored with a rabbit and leftover chips diet.

Glad your results didn't show anything untoward, Alex.

Alex, when big ducks don't :run4hills: every time they see me, I will get some pics. Glad your results were good

Marge, your job is extremely tough :GroupHug:

Good new Jazz :GroupHug:

I was in town all morning doing errands (that sounds very American lol) and shopping. Went to bank to try to open new account to be told that I need an appointment. Good grief, you'd think they'd be crying out for new business. Going to miss out on some sponsorship money now cos can't set up paypal :grrr:

Tis hot hot hot here today.

We got our first duck eggs this morning and had them for lunch. Delicious

Glad your blood results were ok, Alex. My consultant was very pleased with my platelet count, it's holding steady so I can leave it another three months before I go again..can't stop taking the tablets though, I'm stuck with them for life it seems.

My poor OH is in the wars, last week he bit into a toffee Revel and broke half his bridge..had to have a broken tooth removed, and she's taken a mould for a partial denture instead. This morning, I got a frantic phone call from him as he arrived at work saying the other half of the blasted thing had sheared too..so now he looks like an extra from Deliverance! To top it off, he's now got a migraine. I've suggested a yashmak for work next week, or possibly a beekeepers hat and veil!

'Tis boiling here today. I wonder what time the noise will start? rolleyes.gif I had some bumf off Environmental Health through the post, had a read through. I have to keep a diary (which I am doing anyway) and send it off to them, they they decide whether they think it's a nuisance or not.

They are kicking a massive ball around in the garden and it came very close to my fence, so I did a bit of Googling to see whether I'm in the wrong if I didn't give it back straight away. I am absolutely gobsmacked at the number of people who think it's okay for their brats to kick balls into people's gardens, and even worse go over the fence and get them without permission ohmy.gif

They'd have a bit of a shock with Taffy and Beau racing towards them barking

Had the results of my blood tests. Apart from the low calcium, there's nothing awry.

Glad to hear it. :flowers: I know you should be able to chill at home when the weather is nice but can you plan a day out or something so you can get away from the noise, even for a few hours? Thats what we do now, Allotment or caravan weekends. We also have lots of footballs in our garden and kids (and adults) jumping over the fence to get them! The kids are told that if the ball comes over and the dogs get it they will get it back in pieces if at all. We have a nice collection of doggy leather footballs that they now play tuggy with! And the amount of times we have had to physically dodge them too! They all know round here that Neo isnt friendly and I make sure that the parents come to collect the ball if the kids want it back more than once to ensure that they know the kids are under no circumstances to enter our garden!

Maybe down the allotment or perhaps take the camera out. I fancy getting some poppy field photos.

One of my friends is at a wedding so popped in to walk and feed her dog. Out 2 mins with him when i noticed hes bleeding. Hes got a cut above one eye and a nick near his other. No idea how hes gone and done it, possibly sticking his head through the catflap which hes fond of doing. Bathed the cuts and phoned my friend to let her know. Hes not bothered by them which is a good thing.
