:GroupHug: Tikka. How lovely that Dex gives you so much joy. I hope the vets have done a grand job patching him up for you.

My dad has been referred to a cancer specialist in Manchester today. His treatment had looked pretty good last time, but it would appear its back and agressive. The practical sod was making me ring the tax office today to fix a problem, sort out the online banking and set up the VAT online, just incase he dies so Im not totally clueless with that side of the business. It kind of puts into perspective the total insignificance of the asswipe who has been sniping at me for the last few days. Some things in life are important to me. Somoe people really are not.

My step mum was the same, She organised everyone and everything. Its the one thing which brought normality and helped her cope with something she had no control over. Your dad sounds like quite a charactor.

No matter what you do or dont do in life someone wont like it so you are right to focus on only the things that matter.

Oh Di :GroupHug: masses of good wishes for your dad. I hope that you and your former very good friend can get over any recent silly blimps in the past, shove them aside and realise that you do really care about each other :GroupHug: :GroupHug: :flowers:

Thank you. It must be nice to be a nice person like you... but Im a totally not nice person and as long as I have a hole in my @rse that will never happen  Im sure the feeling is mutual too. So far I have refrained from getting personal, and thats about as nice as I can manage, as I am a total bitch :flowers:

Tiks I hope they've got it all and Dex is with you a good while yet. :GroupHug:

Di it certainly does put things into perspective. Sorry to hear your Dad is so poorly and have everything crossed that he'll get through this hurdle too. I can always help with VAT and stuff (don't want anything for it. you've helped and have offered to help me many times). :GroupHug:

Just popped in to say Hello :wavey:

MIssus Tiks I am sorry Dex has been unwell but full of admiration for the way you are dealing with his treatment and the lovely words you wrote about him.

Diane , so sorry to hear your Dads cancer has returned and hope his treatment offers some hope Group_Hug_Emoticon.gif I find when I am living here ( Sri Lanka ) that it really puts so much in perspective for me and so many things I think are important really are not. I think in the west we get all tangled up with stuff thats really a pile of old shite and forget life is a very precious thing and unless like all my Sri Lanka team you believe in reincarnation it really is a one off and not a practice run

that said the dodgy plumbing in the Dogstar house is a concern especially the wiring in the bathroom ! that I am worried about and will be doing something about very very very very soon before I am a deep fried Squirrel

Morning :tired:

Di I am sorry that your dad is ill again :( and that you are having to put up with other carp to boot :GroupHug:

RMQ : Lady Gaga - is it only me who think she's carp? I find that with some things, it's very much a case of the emperor's new clothes. Mind you I was never a fan or Madonna or Kylie, neither of whom can carry a tune in a bucket.

Di I am very sorry to hear about your dad, I am always in awe of people who can keep their head when things like this happen.

Hope that Dex recovers quickly and continues with the fun packed life he had with you.

Have been out with the dogs since 4.15, having a good walk while it was still cool on the beach.

We were mugged by Little Terns, then I pulled all the dogs in the sea one by one, for a salt bath to coll them down, they are not best pleased. Loads of rabbits everywhere with my lot too lazy to chase, all very half hearted chasing, it looked they didn't want to be embaressed by not bothering incase other dogs saw them.. lol

Hope you both get sorted Griff and Alex. :flowers:

:GroupHug: For Jule's cat

I hope you have lots more time with Dex , Marian. :flowers:

so sorry your dad's cancer has come back Di. :flowers:

I'm very worried about my friend with cancer too. After a year of different chemos, fluid drains and an operation, she had started to get stronger and even put on a little weight. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, she was hospitalised and has just been allowed home. She has "pockets" of fluid and has had infections. I'm trying to stay positive, but she seems to be running out of options. :mecry:

I cannot stand Lady Gaga - totally agree she's just a flipping clone of Madonna with even less talent, we've seen it all before - every time I catch another headline about the gaga woman it's deja vous all the hype and stuff she does to "shock" is old hat done to death by others long before she showed up. Borrrrrrriiiiingggg

:GroupHug: Nige & Tess

:GroupHug: for Houndzrus friend.

What can I say Helly? :( So sorry to hear your Dad's cancer is back. I do believe in miracles, let's hope for one.

My RMF is petty by comparison for all the sadness around at the moment, Pierce's ear infection is slowly improving. Thanks for all your good thoughts, I'm sure all the positive energy helped. :flowers:

Had a minor op on thursday, I now have a sore rump. Someone needs to change the dressing coz I can't see what I'm doing. All possible volunteers in this house have not stepped forward.

I'm with your Sri Lanka team in belief, but life is still no practice run. We only get one shot at this particular incarnation and each life is a crucial part of one's whole existence and should be valued. So please make that wiring a priority! A friend lost his life while working abroad, as a result of dodgy wiring.

Can't believe everyone else is having a heatwave, it's so wet and windy here.

Thinking of all Fugee animals, relatives and friends having a tough time at present.

The owlmobile is in for pre MOT checks in an hour's time. It needs a couple of things replacing for wear and tear, hope there is nothing else.
