hold on .... missed this ...... burlesque class .....

are you going to go into the line of work when you pass?

are there photos anywhere ......

It's part of my new years resolution to rediscover my fun and flirty side (which got very well buried by ex). First of all I signed up for belly dancing - which I do on a Monday, but had so much fun I joined the burlesque class too

The classes are just for a laugh and, at my age, I fear I've left it too late for that sort of a career change  but I am having fun and get to wear purple frilly knickers which must be a good thing and I can transform into my alter ego Liberty Belle, who is getting a bit out of hand

You only get pics when i have learnt to love myself again :flowers:

My son has just asked me to read one of the readings at his wedding. Very nice thing to do ...except that when I was just looking at possible readings, because he'd asked me to suggest some, I bawled at every one that I read. :mecry: So that'll look good won't it - mother of the groom sobbing as she reads? :crying_anim:

shadows belly is playing up again. tests show nothings wrong, but shes so thin. I try and give her a bit more food, but she gets dire rear. ive got 5 different completes here, ill get eggs from the farm and do scrambled egg, try that tomorrow

mother gets her results tomorrow morning

When I couldn't get Ben to eat I supplemented him with Build Up, which is for people, but he loved it, it has multi-vit's and is high in calories, your supposed to make it up with milk, but I just used water.

Good wishes for your mum Group_Hug_Emoticon.gif

Does Shadow do ok on tripe? It can be hard to keep weight on Como but tripe seems to do the trick. (Just hate the smell.) Best not to feed it every day because it does make them a bit loose but every third day seems to be ok.

Lamb's another good one.

My eldest son did a reading at my (second) wedding. I blubbed.:mecry:

He got married last summer and I blubbed quietly all through the ceremony - he knows me too well to ask me to do a reading. :mecry: I blubbed when he came over and kissed me before they walked down the aisle. :mecry: I blubbed when he gave me flowers after his speech. :mecry:

It was a lovely day though.

I wish you luck. It's lovely that he asked.

I havent found a class for me yet, one called 'how to enjoy life' it got knocked out of me early, and to be honest, and I havent put this to anyone else, but, I just dont know how to enjoy myself, to have a laugh in a a group of more than 4 people. I didnt get chance to be a child, so if I can go back to then please

Shadow does eat, but cant eat a lot.

she messed as she walked as soon as she came down stairs again :(

I was in a right grump yesterday and didn't feel very social - still feeling a bit moody today the situation with Nog is taking it's toll now especially when the vet hits you with the possibility that to add to everything else we might now have to think about traipsing back and forth to ruddy Chepstow for specialist electro stim physio sad.gif since it's me doing the vast majority of the traipsing I got very snappy with hubby last night sad.gif add to that I have no flipping idea what it'll cost and whilst the insurance will cover it they pay in arrears and the physio will want paying up front like everyone else and my car is in for it's MOT Thursday *sighs* - good news is that the reason Nogs not using the leg is because of the muscle wasteage and the bones are looking good, all the wounds are now healed tho he has a small pressure sore now rolleyes.gif but nothing to be concerned about. His splints have gone so theres only the bandage to give support & with the muscle being non existant it's clear Nog is actually nervous about using the leg as he thinks it won't support him. It's now a 2 man job to force him to put it down - one of us takes a front leg one takes the good back leg and he must stand on the bad one for 4 - 5 seconds at a time 5 or 6 times a day. He hates it.... sad.gif so I feel like a bad bad mummy to add to everything else *sighs*

Hi all,am still reeling from the news at the vets last night.

Feel I am on the point of bursting into tears every 5 minutes which will look strange in an office full of women :(

Sorry to hear that, not sure if I've missed what the news was. But one thing I can assure you is that to you it might look strange, but you crying in an office of women will be fine. Go ahead, let it out. And have a :GroupHug: from me in the meantime.
