ailsas mum
Mine does the big shop mostly on his own, I give him a list he buys it. He always comes back with more than I asked for but as he pays for it I don't mind. Terri
raiye
I pen a list during the week of what we need and he does all the shopping himself. I loathe shopping and would never contemplate even trying it on a weekend. If I cant buy it offline then forget it He shops, cooks, cleans, irons, takes kids to school. And allows me loads of animals. A true diamond in the rough I trust him with my life.
jackin
david is pretty good at shopping and could send him only problem is he is too sensible and we would not get any treats, dogs would but not the rest of us
Spins4me
Totally trust my OH but he will go for the more expensive option if I don't keep an eye on him. My friend's OH 's idea of a week's shopping is 200 fags, a bottle of whisky and a pound of Cheddar. Learned helplessness if you ask me!

staffymonkey
I thought this thread was about fidelity and my first thoughts were "YES, ABSOLUTELY" Turns out you are talking about shopping so the answer is "ABSOLUTELY NOT" My thoughts exactly

suzeanna
When I couldn't walk for nearly six months, my OH did the shopping..the cleaning..the cooking...and did it all very well. Then he discovered Tesco home delivery and the shopping got delivered. Now I'm better though, I cant remember the last time he cooked anything! sparkle
lol, same as others thinking trust was bout other issues as far as that goes yep as far as Tesco's goes, no way! On the few occassions he's gone with me he doubles the amount of stuff we buy but when he's come with me he pays so I don't mind as much
phoebejo
Yep, he's very good at shopping. The only thing he can't do is buy a fresh loaf of bread I always give 'em a squeeze and chose the freshest feeling ones. He'll buy something so hard it could be a lethal weapon
Karen
With a short list OH is quite good and will bring back what I ask for with the addition of lots of chocolate for himself. If I've written a long list in a hurry it's not unknown for him to accost staff around the store to get them to read my writing! It's pretty rare though that he's goes shopping so he doesn't get much of an opportunity to go wrong.
kimthecat
The only thing he can't do is buy a fresh loaf of bread I always give 'em a squeeze I was buying a loaf once and the woman in front of me must have squeezed nearly every one of them before she was satisfied. As she walked away I gave her a glare and said Which one didn't you squeeze! It's one of my pet hates.. Alison
lazydaisy
My OH is ok at shopping, but he tends to get the absolute basics. I usually spend £100 pw but he can do it for about £60, but we would not have anything nice
Abigailj
My OH goes shopping at random. Suddenly after 6 months of being oblivious he goes to the shops. He never tells me he is going and that means he doesn't have a list. He usually spends about fifty quid on bog all and I have to take deep breaths and bite lip etc because whilst I am pleased he has that acknowledged we need to go shopping, I am fuming at the fact he has spent all the money and we don't actually have any meals. EGAR
We always go shopping together.. OH stays in car with the *small man* while I do the shopping stress- and question free. OH is good to buy a litre of milk or a loaf of bread in the local shop and if need be ration for my horses but thats about it ;).
