I used to be a moderator on a bull terrier forum and some of the stuff we used to get on their was funny, the porn not so much, also the weirdo who entered the chat room once was quite horrible. I actually feel rather sickly with it. Archie has gone swimming in the lake with Cara, Evie and Sadie so that will keep him cool. Thankfully our garden has a lot of shade so it's nice out there for him. Cold sausages and salad for tea tonight. blackmagic Posted July 24, 2014 Report Share Posted July 24, 2014 It has been very hot all week but today is hotter. The thermometer is showing 28 degrees in the shade. When I go out in the garden my arms actually sting. I have all the curtains closed. Both dogs and myself have been inside all day apart from a short toddle round the front garden an hour ago. Yesterday was hot but there was a nice breeze. I managed an hour weeding the garden but after that I was puggled. I couldn't face much for tea so had a baked potato with butter. It was very nice. I've just done the fish tanks, which involved taking a total of 9 large buckets of water out of the two tanks, lugging them through to the garden to use to water the plants, then refilling with fresh water and hoisting them into the tanks. And I have to do it all again next week The tanks were Paul's thing really, and I wouldn't choose to have them (at least not the huge one as it is too big for me), but I'm feeling slightly smug that they're looking way healthier since I've taken over responsibility for them 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
