Glad the dog isn't coming back Jazz :flowers:

Spent a couple of hours at the farm last night cleaning out my tack room and scrubbing my stable mats with jeyes fluid. Am a bit chesty today, think I may have inhaled some dust and it's settled on my chest

Local beagle has just been caught 7 miles away and returned to her family. It is so much easier when they have a tag with contact details. Sore paws, sore eyes, tired & hungry but otherwise ok, which is amazing considering the way she has been running down the middle of the A57.

Moaning :tired:

Pleased beagley has been caught :flowers:

WFHing today :)

The birds in my garden are really fussy about their bread. They get a mix of nuts, raisins, bird seed, etc but I also put bread out seeded bread for them every day. I bought an Asda Extra Special seeded loaf but they left most of it. They love their Burgen soya and linseed so have gone back to that instead. Fussy boogers

Jazz, glad you can relax about the dog, i wonder if someone has taken him on?

Owl, very glad the beagle has been reunited and is not too poorly

Snow, did you manage to find out if they are dodgy geezers? my mums friends fella was always having people knock on his door offering to do his roof.... he has handed over around £20,000 i reckon, things got so bad he was getting phonecalls with offers and he was going for them so the police have put in a thing that intercepts his calls if you with hold your number, lets hope if they are dodgy they get picked up

Hope the chest is better today Gooster

Merledogs, fussy bloody birds, enjoy your day at home

Yantan, you did make me laugh about your freckles popping out

I actually have a day with no appointments..... i can spend the day with the poopie and cat

go to your bank, get statements and that will 1: have your address on it (harlow) 2: show transactions in and around harlow, also contact your gas/electric suppliers to ask for copies of bills and also contact your vets and ask if they would be able to give you a couple of invoices for each year, that will prove you have been getting your pets treated in harlow, likewise a letter off your doctors confirming you have been regularly attending their practice over the years...likewise your dentist and the hospital

I am trying to get a load of work done but my bluddy shoulder is screeching at me so I have stopped for now. I have onions on cooking slowly for a cheese and onion pie for tonight's tea. I've had to tell Evie's mum I can't have on her Friday morning as I just have too much on :( I will miss her.

Last night my blummin' tablet froze after about 20 minutes use. I was unable to shut it down or do anything. It had a fully charged battery at the time so I had to leave it at my bedside to run it out. Sure enough when I woke this morning it was completely and utterly dead. I am trying some tricks to get it started again off t'internet but if I have no luck I shall be very annoyed. I've had it less than 18 months. Grrrrrr.

I have spent the last 2 days in the former war zone area of Jaffna with our vets launching a new program to work with the street dogs there , Its simply heartbreaking seeing the issues with the dogs first hand and seeing the evidence of the war even after 5 years of peace . I have taken some photos which I will put up later

Yesterday afternoon I ended up as you with a Sri Lankan celebrity visiting an army base where the soldiers all have former street dogs as pets and they "work" with them, my vets and I did 60 vaccinations and I had tea and cake with the camp commodore and a Brigadier , we also got a police escort to the camp !

you simply could not make my life up
