suzeanna
Are your cavs quiet, well behaved and ladylike? if so, can I swap one for my noisy, over exuberant Rosie please? Hope it goes/went ok at hospital Griff. I got the result of my blood tests from last Friday...potassium levels have dropped again, so I have to talk to my doctor. Last time they were low he told me to stop taking my blood pressure tablets...I did, and the potassium level came up, but so did my blood pressure! Seems like some you lose and some...you lose again. merledogs
Fingers crossed (and I'm sure) you've done better than you think Alex. Whereabouts in Warrington were you. So near yet so far as I was in Lymm anyway. I was just off junction 11 of the M62 at Birchwood Jazz - keeping fingers crossed for Poppy Alex, you know you said the rugs are from the same batch but one is darker.... could you place the dark one in a sunny spot to get it to fade out a bit?? hospital for me today...oh joy! I don't really get a lot of direct sunlight in my house, but what I have done is put one further away from the patio doors so the one nearest looks lighter anyway. It's been a long day, left home at 6 this morning and after seven and a half hours driving, got back at
griff
Jazz glad Poppy got through the op i hope her liver will be o.k Suzeanna fingers crossed your doctor can help totally agree with the some you lose and some you lose again! Alex that was a very long day..hope you get a good nights sleep. hmmmm my hospital trip, got there and it was the consultant and i don't like the consultant..... luckily the other fella rang in sick and so they had to call down the fella i have been dealing with soooo i went over to the nurses desk and said i wanted to see him and not the consultant and the nice nurses grabbed my notes before the consultant got them i do have to have another op which i am non to pleased about and i probably won't get the nice chap i have been dealing with which has made me even more grumpy as i trust him and prefer to deal with the same person so i am a bit gutted all told
suzeanna
Griff...as nowadays it's meant to be more "patient choice", and you can pick the hospital you go to, surely you can ask that the op be done by the guy you like and trust?
Jazz
you get patient choice, but only the hospital, I wasnt even given a name of who im seeing. maybe find out what hospital your nice doctor works at but not the nasty one.
Jacobean
Hope Poppy is going to be ok. Griff hope it works out somehow that you get someone you're comfortable with to do the op. It's so important they get this right and don't leave you with long term damage. Alex you were so close to where I live sniff. Hope you've got your feet up taking it easy. griff
the nice fella is an "associate specialist" who works under several consultants..... so his boss (well one of) is the consultant i don't like, as the surgery is done as a day surgery you get given a day and time and off you go and you don't know whose operating on you until you arrive i may have a sneaky plan up my sleeve though which could ensure i get my nice fella..... will have to keep everything crossed.... i don't want to be left deaf but i am seriously worried about how ill i was last time, it has to be done so i will just have to bite the bullet just been looking at tattoo designs....i need cheering up!
