owl
Very sad to hear about Freshfields animals, and the dog outside Cher's Fionna is having such a horrible time at present, glad Pete is there helping. We luffs Pete, he can do lots of fings Jane and family have moved out of home until Tues and are all staying with different people. Jane is here in the village so she can keep an eye on things. The electric is sorted but it turns out the house is not habitable as there is a layer of oily residue over everything in all the rooms. Things look OK until you touch them and then you find it on your hands. Insurance peeps are sending a team in on Monday to do a specialist clean of the house and they are even providing an emergency electric cooker. We went to Cefn Sidan this afternoon and the dogs behaved impeccably. We have a lovely warm fire here, and Polly has just moved to the back of the room as she says it is too warm. Wispa who is hogging the hearthrug says it is just right.
JulesB
Aw, a randome surprise picture of Spike. I love him Nice mince pies San, what time shall we all come round I agree the law should be changed to allow putting man flu victims out of their misery for good It would be a mercy killing, I swear it would. Practically a public service. What horrible news from Freshfields

Mags
Thank you all for your kind thoughts for Andy. He's not a bit sick - eating, drinking, playing, tantrumming, etc. all fine. I told him tonight about going to see Santa tomorrow at Christmas Wonderful. I might as well have said we were going to Tesco. chickentikka
Bubbles da hamsta has come to live with me (Mrs Oooks H&S in the nursery). Claire got her yesterday and I picked her up this morning. Her cage is absolutely diddy and she's a bit nippy at the moment. I've ordered her a new palace this one, I was thinking about going to the local petshop and getting her something bigger than her existing cage until the new one arrives, but think that moving home etc will be stressful enough without shunting her from one cage to another. So as much as I hate it Bubbles is going to stay in her shoebox for a couple more days until her proper home arrives. I'm all for kids having loads of supervised access to animals, and probably rolled my eyes at the H&S police when Claire first posted, but Bubbles must have the smallest hamster cage on the market and I'm bloomin glad she's had to go and will now have room to run and play and learn to trust people so she doesn't feel the need to chomp any hand that enters her cage.
