snow Posted September 4, 2010 Report Share Posted September 4, 2010 I did not sleep well I've tossed and turned and argued with someone all night (no idea who just woke myself up shouting and mumbling several times) Today might be spent mostly car hunting - or the hunt might be over as early as 10am and end right here in the village, muggins here made a mistake over the mileage on the garage escort I forgot that when it gets to 100k the 1 drops off so in fact its only done 115k not 159k which is about the same as ours hubbys been to see it and we have decided to be sensible and if we get a favourable answer to a couple of questions we have over price & mot then we will probably get it. We can swap out the good bits from ours (boot cover & carpet and plastic moldings) which will make it a bit tidier & get it valeted to freshen up the interior and we'd be in a similar position to if ours had failed but been worth repairing. The rust on the wheel arch is roughly how ours was 2 - 3 years ago so we should have about that before it gets to the same state as ours currently is provided the sills have either been done or don't need doing. Does anyone know if Shutter Island was on Film 4 last week ? Eddies swears blind it was and he watched it , I will be most miffed if it was. Some mugs freecyclers who have had a few other things from me, are coming to collect it this afternoon. They are people who Lesley Trallwm knows so I will have to be honest and explain that these plants have a dubious past and were investigated by police. Jazz Posted September 4, 2010 Report Share Posted September 4, 2010 just reading my post when a crash in the kitchen. lissie, you know the blind one, had found the bit of food id put on the floor for scruff while I was pottering in there. lissie had also pulled over the big dogs big bowl of water. she was torn between running to her bed and looking innocent, and checking to see if there was any food left. she was still at the scene of the crime when I got in there. nothing wrong with her sense of smell! ooo shes a sod when shes lucid lol now ive mopped half the floor, its suprising how quickly it spreads.
