Melp Posted May 16, 2008 Report Share Posted May 16, 2008 My special girl is on her way to the vets with her Dad. Foo has always had problems with her spine [spinal fusion] and is severely arthritic. She's had numerous tests and treatments over the years inc steroids, cartrophen an MRI, herbal supplements, Rimadyl, Metacam etc etc. She's been manging reasonably well for several months now but over the past week I've noticed her hip has developed a lump [hard not fluid filled]. It's pushing her tail over to one side and while she doesn't appear to be in pain and it's not affecting her walking it's there, it's big and it scares me. Foodog is about 14 now and she's so very special. My grumpy girl is a pain with some other dogs but with people, and especially kids, she's fantastic, completely bombproof there. Anyway, Trev has taken her because I've suddenly dissolved and can't face going, even though I know she's coming back Please keep your fingers crossed it's nothing to worry about.
