Well just back from a very wet miserable walk. Archie managed to loose his coat. My fault as I hadn't quite fastened it right at the neck. It popped open and the rest of it slipped down his back just as he was going through a very wet muddy puddle - which is where he left it after wiggling it off his back legs :rolleyes_anim:

I had forgotten about the splint. Glad it helped. It did wonders for me.

 

It's a pity that all the NHS provides is either a plaster cast or a crepe bandage, nothing in between, and you don't get told about using sports supports.

 

I was very lucky that my landlady at the time of my fracture was a physio who obtained crutches for me.

if she is small, ebay!! you can get tonnes from china or hong kong for very little money, i had diez and laneys made and they were only about £18 a pair...made to measure and velcro up the back, it was a place on ebay called stinkysuitcase
