When I ring his mobile all I get is a message that says the call cannot be connected. His land line goes to ansaphone. griff Posted August 1, 2013 Report Share Posted August 1, 2013 well if he is sick or had an accident, at least that is a valid reason for his not showing up / contacting you, i would have thought if he had had an accident then perhaps a friend would have called to let you know what was happening to try an retain the job for when he was a bit better. i didn't get on so well at the hospital yesterday and had to go to the drs today, i have a kidney infection...again and that is probably why i felt so poorly, i am normally really good at picking up on them before they get too bad, i didn't realize this time round though. i have to now see a specialist about my kidneys as it keeps happening, i hope to god they don't want me to have the camera again as i will be declining Lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yantan Posted August 1, 2013 Report Share Posted August 1, 2013 Careful Jazz - don't go pulling the filling out by eating too soon! The joiner turned up to drop off the shelves he's made us. His van broke down and he's just had a hellish couple of days plus the doors he ordered haven't turned up yet. I asked him to come and put the shelves up ASAP as then we can finish the room off. It doesn't matter when the doors go on. You deserve some tlc and happiness. Know it's early days but hope it's the start of something very special. Pleased your results were good Jazz. Jayne hope Charlie does improve for you and there is nothing else going on. Issie made very slow progress. Oldies Club are selling dog bandanas now if anyone is interested. merledogs Posted August 2, 2013 Report Share Posted August 2, 2013 Moaning Four day weekend for me Had a chat with one of our (female) directors the other day about the 'situation' with the complaint at work. She was really lovely about it and thanked me for reporting it. The complaint is serious enough that it's been made to go through formal HR channels. She said I should call her any time I wanted to talk to her about it. The other people who were present at the meeting were all being spoken to this week (including the one who made the comments) so we'll see what happens now. Meeting ex colleague for lunch today who used to sit next to me at my previous job. His wife's just left him so that should make for a jolly lunch. Hope it doesnt rain as my friend is moving today the environmental health lady and the landlords surveyer is here at 11. hope they see what we all see and do something.
