merledogs
Hope the fitter is there by now michelle Had a lovely walk with the dogs. Met two new friends - a huge 8 month old guide dog puppy called Leo who had no off switch He wouldn't be dissuaded from playbowing and jumping around even with Timmy who told him off lots The other one was a 12 month old GSD we met on lead who was friendly. Don't think his owner has had him long and was trying to socialise him so brought him up to us so everyone could have a sniff on lead. Taffy's not great with sheps but he had a few sniffs, up to the point where the shep put his head over the back of Taffy's neck, which earned him a growl. Came home and scattered some Aquilegia seeds for next year in the front border (very kindly sent to me by a couple of members on my gardening forum) and some Stocks for this year which should really have been out by end of May, but thought I'd take a chance. Have put some in a trough as well so fingers crossed we see some this year. Edited June 22, 2013 by merledogs

Sophie
Glad to hear Ted is doing well. I had a lovely lie in this morning - first time I've slept in past 6.20 in 4 weeks. Was still up by 8, but thats late for me. Have been cleaning and tidying and rearranging furniture in the dogs room. Popped up to the tesco direct near us for some storage boxes so I can start shifting some stuff up to the loft. Logan and Kia have spent the last 30 minutes trying to convince me that it is lunchtime, despite them not normally getting fed til 1ish. They are quite convincing though, so I expect I'll cave and feed them shortly.
gooster
I will upload Ted pics when I get home My phone is broken as well as my boiler I have no hot water and have had to swap my sim into my old iPhone which has the smallest screen in the world It also has a rubbish camera - am hoping if I can plug my other phone into the computer and install the update it has been nagging me to do for a few weeks, it may start working again! I can't cope with this micro screen for too long
Sophie
I also have a broken phone I've had to swap my sim into my old non-smart phone. I can't remember how to use it I think I can manage to answer it if it rings, but that's as far as I can get. My sister has texted me and I can't figure out how to reply. I've ordered a new cheapy smart phone which shipped today, so fingers crossed it arrives on Monday. Been out for a lovely walk with the dogs. Met up with my mum and Buzz and Morse. Kia and Buzz had great fun flushing out bunnies, Logan was in heaven cause I brought his chuckit and ball, and Morse spent the walk worshipping my treat bag My feet are rather damp though - don't think I should need my wellies in June. merledogs
I've repotted a Cytisus Allgold (Broom) into a bigger pot and sprayed a zillion aphids and red mites To cheer myself up I shall be having a nice rare rump steak and dauphinoise potatoes with peppercorn sauce for tea, yum
gooster
Glad your kitchen is nearly done Michelle Glad you had a nice walk Sophie, but I do agree, wellies should not be needed in June Enjoy your steak Alex I might see how much discount my little bro can get off a newer iPhone and have that as my main phone. As much as I like my lumia, the range of apps is a bit rubbish, but the camera is much better on my lumia than on my current iPhone
sanrossscot
Clever doggies today...our club has a challenge series that runs in 4 parts over the year. Today was part 2. Glen got a clear in s/chase and won the jumping for his level!! He also won the 1 dog 2 handlers pairs competition. Molly won the steeplechase for her level!! I was pleased with her other runs as well, knocked poles and contacts letting us down but as she normally ends up eliminated at our outdoor venue I was well chuffed!!
buddyboy
We are in the caravan in Gowerton. I modified the fence so although the space outside for the dogs is slightly smaller than before it is much easier for me to put up. Got a glare off a woman with a JR who was going mad when it saw mine - but too bad... my dogs have been very well behaved, only a couple of woofs which were stopped as soon as they started whereas I noticed last night she was strolling round the site with her dog at the furthest extension of its flexilead so it could go and sniff everyone else's van! New fence is definitely secure because Bruv visited us today and when he left Bo was heartbroken and sat whimpering at the gate. We were waiting at Reception to meed Bruv this morning and Bo went absolutely berserk when he saw his uncle.... (Bruv's idea of a good pressie to bring when visiting 5 dogs in a 2 berth caravan --------- a pack of 12 tennis balls which he unwrapped for them as soon as he was inside). We will be at the Dogs Trust Fun Day tomorrow at Margam Park so please come and say hello if you are going (we will be on the Deaf Dog Network stand - nice red gazebo to stand out from the crowd!)
Jacobean
Oh fab idea. Well done Glen & Molly. Did you manage to find a rescue space for your mum's dog by the way? Didn't get to see my dad today as the bloke was here til late afternoon so phoned him instead. He's all kitted out in his room now so we can contact each other any time we want. He's talking about becoming more independent and I can't tell you how relieved I am about that. I've made sure he knows he can come live with us any time but for now he wants to do his own thing and I'm pleased. He's on waiting list for a apartment with assisted care if needs be 24/7. I just hope he's near the top as that's his next stage. I took some pics the other week but don't know where the lead is to pop them on the comp Alex. I'll take some more when the tiles have been done too. I absolutely love it. It will be a few weeks before the floor is done too because of everything we have on.
sanrossscot
Yes thanks...she has gone to Islay Dog Rescue in Cumnock, Ayrshire. She is staying with the rescue owners for a few weeks and will be spayed etc but she hopefully has a home lined up where she will be living with a lil pug for company. owl
That's good to hear. Well done Glen & Molly and of course yourself. Hope Margam Park day goes well, buddyboy. My new car went rapidly downhill today before dying at my mum's. I think it may be terminal. Can't do anything about it until Monday now. I am rather upset, I know it's only a machine, but it is very inconvenient living without one. We are doing some tracking tomorrow but are getting a lift there and back. Hope our 3rd attempt at replacing the Berlingo will be lucky.
