Karen
Sending lots of good thoughts for Milly and for all of you. Really hope that the tests don't find anything sinister but I know of a lurcher with an outer toe amputated and you honestly can't see it slowing her down at all. Houndwoman
Healing thoughts for dear Milly We were so worried when our dear old Bridge boy Bosun was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma He had it on his sheath and eventually it got huge and it looked like a bunch of black grapes One day it bled quite badly and we thought that was the beginning of the end. Now the baffling thing is that after a while it started to shrink and eventually disappeared completely and he never had a mark left on him. Vet said he had never known it and thought that it would be the one thing that saw him off and could only put it down to one or more of the supplements we were giving him. There was no other explanation. We were giving him Manuka Honey, Zara's Herbal Tea and used Petzlife Tooth Gel which had a high concentration of Grapefruit Seed Extract in it with other herbs. I had a dog that lost a toe through a tumour and she did fine afterwards-she lived until she was 14 and she was 6 when it was removed.

ReikiAnge
Sending lots of good thoughts for Milly :GroupHug: (I know it's not everyone's "thing" but I'd refer to a holistic vet if it were one of mine and I was going to mention Zara's herbal tea too, have heard great things about it )
Helly
Alex. We have had a few greyhounds in with missing toes and it doesnt seem to affect their balance or weight bearing at all. One big lad we had, had 2 toes off and healed beautifully. He is now rehomed, fully recovered and walks fine. If he is going out on a full day out ie a show or sponsored walk, he has a booty to spread the weight of his foot. Everything crossed for a quick result and speedy fix for her
