Katiebob
It's awful when you have no indication that they're ill and then suddenly they're really, really ill. Sending loads of good wishes and positive thoughts for Max

Whizzie
His anaemia is so bad that the vet said his red blood count is barely able to sustain life and she was amazed he was still walking around. It should be between 37 and 55 and Max's is 8.1. His white blood cell count is also very low, all of which indicates that his bone marrow has stopped working, probably a couple of weeks ago. Don't give up hope yet. Those words are very, very familiar - something very similar indeed was said to me about my own blood counts. That was in 1998! I wasn't feeling that ill, just very tired. Luckily I never believed the horrendous diagnosis I was given and a few months later I was fine and it was dismissed as viral. I wish the same good fortune to Max
