Yantan
Ruby's scan was up on the screen for her to see when we walked into the consultant's office and he talked her through it all. When we saw her surgeon he had it on hand again to explain further details and he also dictated a letter in front of us and Ruby got a copy in the post. Good for you Suzeanna, it's your body, your life and if you want to know the how, the why and the wherefore then they should level with you. Good luck for the appointment. I won't spend much in Lidl as we've had a Tesco shop delivered today. I will just get a few bits and pieces.

suzeanna
Only waited 50 minutes past my appointment time, quite good for them! He didn't have the facility on his computer to show me my scans (boo) but he says no problem with alcohol (hurray!) Too soon for another scan as 6 weeks isn't long enough to make a noticeable difference, so another appointment in 3 months time. Took forever to get home, just missed one bus from the hospital and had to wait 20 minutes for the next, then the driver on the second bus back to mine went straight at a roundabout when he should have gone left, so had to go up to the next one, go round and back and up again! He said it's down to working 12days on the trot, his mind isn't working.
Yantan
Ah well at least you know you can have a drink when you fancy Suzeanna. Enjoy! If I lived closer to you I would happily take you to appointments and back to save all the palaver of public transport. I had my dental check up and all was well and saw the hygienist for a scrub. I asked her if it was worth getting a water pik and she said it absolutely is. She uses one herself. I have been thinking about getting one for ages so I think I'll treat myself. I only spent £8.81 in Lidl. I bought some bratwurst but as I was putting it in the fridge I noticed they were hot chilli flavour. I don't care for hot stuff so they may end up in the bin. I got some brioche buns to put in the freezer, a mini bottle of white wine for cooking purposes, a tub of cheesy coleslaw and 4 mini pork pies that my neighbour and I shared in the car for our lunch. Ruby got another bouquet of flowers this morning with a get well balloon. Fortunately they came in a box affair with water that they can be displayed in so we don't need a vase. Archie was very hungry yesterday but doing all that eating meant he wanted out in the garden in the early hours. He had a poo and came back in. However, when I came down this morning it was to discover he had left us a rather large deposit, which he managed to spread across the dining room carpet and the kitchen floor. He's eating well again today so we may have a repeat tonight. Bless his little cotton socks. He and Ruby had a decent length walk to the wood at the top of our road this morning and he was still skipping along all the way home. Probably coz he'd lost about 3lbs through the night! eve
What's a water pik Yantan? Yay for Suzeanna being allowed alcohol. I know you stick to just weekends but at least you know it's not doing any harm. Aw Archie, hope your tummy holds up a bit better tonight. Glad Ruby is managing to walk with him though. Hope everyone is ok. Have a lovely evening xx

Not complaining as they can be very interesting. I am cautious about posting good news as I appreciate that other Fugees are having a very difficult time at present and I don't want to appear tactless. I will just say that this post from 2 years ago was oddly prophetic. Social distancing applies, but it is nice to have someone to spend time with who shares my interests and general outlook. Wispa is the most devoted companion I could ask for but she is a bit limited at conversation.
