merledogs Posted March 7, 2015 Author Report Share Posted March 7, 2015 Well I test drove the Renault Captur, which felt far too small and the rear seats didn't fold completely flat (which they'd need to do to fit all three dogs in), plus the 0.9 engine just didn't have enough oomph in it and the diesels were £3k more. Then I just happened to drive past a Peugeot dealer on the way there (I wanted to test drive the 2008 as well) so I dropped in and had a test drive. I absolutely loved it - in fact I loved it so much that I ended up buying a 10 month old Peugeot 2008 in spirit grey. Oops The one I bought is in Stockport so they need to have it sent to the Manchester dealer. It felt so much better than the Captur (and looks better) and is still under the three year manufacturer's warranty. They gave me £300 more part ex on Henry Honda than the Renault dealer offered. Car tax is only £20 (currently I pay £485) and it does up to 78mpg (currently getting 25mpg out of Henry). 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
