suzeanna
Good news about your mum and car Owl! Griff, you don't mean to say you believe the weather forecasters?? I'm touched by your innocence! Snow, if you want a climbing rose, there are several thornless varieties, including Zepherine Drouhine, which has a lovely perfume. murtle
Now I know who to blame for the rain griff!! We still have rain. Carrying cardboard boxes in the rain is not much fun! I'm not asking for sweltering heat, but some dry warm wether would make a nice change! Good news about your mum owl. X

merledogs
If it is a shady spot then buddleia or lilac wouldnt suit as they both like full sun to be at their best. If you want some recommendations let me know As has been said you can get virtually thornless roses. Good news owl
Karen
2 good things happened today. 1) I have wheels again. 2) Mum is headed for Bassetlaw hospital in Worksop on the next ambulance run, either this evening or tomorrow morn. Good news on both counts!

murtle
Morning all, not sunny but it *might* have stopped raining for the moment. Where are you off to Amy? I hope these tablets make my periods stop soon, this is all getting a little too much now!
murtle
What are you looking to get help for Jazz? The move or the stair lift? Or something else? xxx
gooster
Where are you going Amy? The cerazette will work soon Murtle, it can take a few weeks, but they do get lighter, so it is more like spotting - more of an inconvenience than anything else. Then they stop
murtle
Thank you Gooster, that is what I need to keep hearing as a two week period takes me back to my teens and is very draining and painful! We have sun, we also have wind. This means out of the wind it is really toasty...in the wind it is quite chilly. I am happy though as it is bright and sunny! xxx
merledogs
We have no sun but we do have wind. I've been out potting up some Alpines. Think I may go and do one of the larger plants as well before it starts raining.
gooster
Try and take some iron supplements until it settles down, then that way you don't become anaemic and feel even worse
