OH has an irregular heartbeat and one of the questions for him was as follows:

Do you have the following fitted:

1. a pacemaker

2. a defibrillator

3. a pacemaker and a defibrillator

4. none of the above

5. Don't know

Don't know - WTF???!!!!

RMF Flo cut open one of her front pads so the vet has stapled it together.

Ouch!!

Darn it. I forgot to get Smarties or something for Andy's advent calendar. I wonder would sultanas do

I have some Smackos if they're any good? (Going to do the dogs advent calender later)

Trudi! gla dyou are ok. Why don't you put some tape round the various body parts and have a snowman CSI?

Hope you feel better soon Michelle :GroupHug:

Trudi, can you get your husband to tie some string, or wool or something between the main landmarks that you need, so you can feel if you are going in the right direction? A fence round the pond sounds a good idea too, it's too cold for impromtu swims!

Or a large rope round your waist just in case. The thought of going near a pond in this weather fills me with horror. We have an 80ft duck pond. The ducks have taken to walking about the farm yard to get bread. I dont forsee going near the pond untill Spring.

Amy who is your adorable guest?

His name is Obi. He is a friend's foster dog. I offered to pick him up after his neutering op as she had to work until 5.30pm. He's a bulldog so much bigger than Louie but still managed to squeeze into his bed.

Hope you're feeling better today :flowers:

did you get a free advent calendar from zooplus?

I didn't, mine is from Ebay.

OH has just emptied the ash from the stove into a black bin liner.

He then wondered why the bin bag disintegrated as he tried to pick it up.

Duh. The stove's been on for 7 hours and is a tad HOT

Ooops!

Sam, I'm sure he'd love eating reindeer poo

I have smackos too Marge and also some doggy choc drops

I think the "poo" is a great option!

Morning. Tried a new tactic last night - when I woke up, I didn't look at the clock so I wouln't know whether it was 4am or not. Went to the loo and then got straight back to sleep

Good grief, we dug the car out of the driveway at 9 last night (it got snowed in since he got home from work at 3!!)

I opened the front door to brush off the overnight snow this morning and the snow fell indoors - it's about 3' deep out there now

I will be spending today digging out as much as possible including a route round the back for Benji cos the snow is deeper than he is

Blind person loose in snow with a shovel - check the news later
