Lesley I love the piece you have written for your grand-daughter :speak_cool:

The joiner is here again fitting the doors to the new bathroom cupboard.

George pee'd and poo'd in the hall this morning whilst I was in the bathroom This was despite him going out at at 11pm, 12.15am, 2.35am, 6am and 7.20am for wee's due to his meds. He wasn't a bit sorry. He actually looked quite pleased with himself.

Thank you and to everyone else too.

My blog is a copout really because I dont get much time to write properly so it just gives me a positive hit not disimilar from the cherry brandy liqueuers Bojangles and I have just shared for breakfast.

Dibs is making coffee as she has infected the household with her virus again...Oh I hear paracetamals being bandied like currency now ....

Sorry you've had such a bad day Sarah. :GroupHug: When is your camping trip this year?

I didn't know Green and Blacks did hot chocolate.

It wasn't really "bad" as such, just busy, but thanks anyway :flowers: Ermmm...I'll double check the camp dates and let you know later  I hope that cav news is that he's home and not that silly lady has ignored you.

Ickle bugger

Lesley - I read your blog last night and forgot to post  Fabulous piece, but I nearly peed myself at the comment about an animal will never lie to you unless it's a Dyfed Powys police horse :biglaugh:

I have backache  I've had it for a few days now and it's driving me mad.

I am also very tired today and it's all that Wendy's fault :glare: She *made* me stay up far too late last night :glare: Well. She lent me Bad Dog's Diary and I got absolutely hooked last night and didn't stop reading until I finished it at 3am

Michelle - The first camp is 11th - 18th July and the second one will probably be about a week or 2 after that :flowers:

Still freezing in the house. Upstairs is ok but no heating dowstairs still. Rang the boiler people this morning ( we got them out last yr for a repair and paid for yearly cover) and they can't come out till Thurs between 12 and 5. Not sure whether to go out and buy a heater for the living room but am not sure I could lift it in and out of the car at the mo!

Afternoon

Pleased you're a stage further on Heva. Hope you get a specialist's appointment through quickly.

Quiet day here. Just contacting agencies. Was going to apply for a job in a library until I got to a bit of the job spec which says "plan and deliver storytime sessions with children". I can't speak to a group of people, however old they are.

Another job I'm interesting in has some finance to it but also is arranging meetings etc. I would go for it but one part is attending the meetings and taking minutes. Erm I've not really done that and I don't know if they're going to expect me to do shorthand or something. I think I might apply anyway and see how it goes. Nothing ventured nothing gained. It's the hours I want and very close to home.

It's a lot brighter out there today and have had some pleasant walks. Still chilly.

Give it a go Michelle, they are not going to mind how you take the minutes down so long as you can read them back and get them typed up, its so long ago since I used 'traditional' shorthand, I have my own. Also remember you don't have to take the meeting down verbatim, just salient points. A good way to practice is to listen to a talk radio station and take down what they say.
