If You've Got Any Positive Thoughts

I just seem to be going through a bit of 'patch' with some of my lovely collies.

Bobby who is a lovely sable boy (never shown) and is now 9 years old, suddenly deteriorated in his movement in the rear legs. He's been to the vet. I thought they'd say it was a hip problem. Very sadly it's a neurological problem with a vertrabra pressing on his spinal cord. He is so wobbly, there's no cure and it's just so sad. He's deteriorating much faster than I'd wish too 542207.gif

Today I took Gemma to the vet to have her scanned for pups. The vet can't see any pups which is fine but he thinks she has a problem - either with one of her kidneys or an ovary. She's back for more tests on Wednesday. Gemma owes me nothing - she has won showing and has been a fab girl, producing a lovely litter a couple of years ago and starting agility this year. She really is one of those dogs of a lifetime.

Please, if you've got any positive thoughts to spare, wish them both well
