Especially when you may just think he may have pulled his shoulder or something like that. Enjoy some quality time with your dog especially now. I lost my first greyhound to bone cancer in his shoulder. we thought his lameness was a muscle pull at first but it got worse and I had to let him go at 8 also. celeste Posted August 15, 2008 Report Share Posted August 15, 2008 I'm so so sorry Maria, what a horrible shock for you I'm sure Terri will have told you about my dog Celeste that died of cancer, there was no treatment for her either but if you'd like to know about the alternative route I took just pm me, although she still died she did survive for a lot longer than the vets predicted.
