Wendbert Posted March 27, 2008 Report Share Posted March 27, 2008 Poor old Bumpy has another lump After the previous cancerous lump was removed from his shoulder joint, he'd been doing so well, but he has a new lump on his shoulder bone. From the initial examination, the vet doesn't think the lump can be removed easily due to its location, unless the leg is amputated Bumpy copes with being blind but I really don't think amputation is an option for him. He's been in a lot of pain and not wanting to go out, which is very unlike Bumpy. Since being given 100mg daily of Rymadil on Tuesday he has perked up a little, but he's still not his usual, daft, thpeshul self. Bumps is going in tomorrow and having a GA so they can do shoulder and chest x-rays, take samples from the lump and they will do full bloods. Not really sure what options we will have, but I'm very worried for my special boy, so if you have any spare good thoughts, they would be very much appreciated.
