Wendbert Posted March 28, 2008 Author Report Share Posted March 28, 2008 Bumps is at the vets. He was weighed and has lost weight, now down to 31kg's whereas roughly a year ago he was about 35kg. He went off happily with the nurse though. Just got to wait now for the vet to phone later once Bumpy has been seen. Thanks so much for all the good thoughts. This is what I got down from our conversation: Bloods were all very good Chest x-rays, no sign of any tumor in lungs, although cant see if it is below 1/2 centre in size 2 lumps - 1 within the muscle below the humourous, 2cm diameter, other in shoulder joint Shoulder x-ray, The bone seems ok Sample of both lumps taken and will be sent off to pathologist, results in 3-5 working days Lump seems to be the same type of lymphoma as before There was a worry about a tumour in his lungs due to the heavy breathing but I'm guessing this was pain associated as since the Rymadil has kicked in, Bumpy's breathing has got more normal. He's coming round from the GA ok and I can go and get him at 4pm So thats the tests, just got to wait for the results now Bumpy has been given an anti-biotic injection and will continue on the Rymadil as this seems to be controlling the pain.
