ClazUK Posted May 8, 2007 Report Share Posted May 8, 2007 Lily is a WAW oldie who came to me last year, shortly after we lost two of our dogs. Her similarity to both of them was amazing and Catherine knew very well what she was doing when she posted her FAO Claz post on 13th November The last couple of days Lily has been 'not quite right' and has had a cough that put me in mind of heart problems. I took her to the vet this morning and, sadly, they found a tumour in her chest. He lungs are full of fluid, which is what is making her cough, but she doesn't have very long My vet is draining the fluid off today and she will be coming home to me tonight. The tumour seems to be fast-growing and the fluid will replace itself within a few days, so I think we are likely to be saying our goodbyes within the next week or so, as she's too frail to put through endless treatment.
