gooster
I had a blackberry when they weren't that popular, so never really got into the blackberry messaging side of things, but everyone at work who has one loves theirs. Just ripped the head off a gang of lads that pushed in front of me on the train platform. Unfortunately as I am wearing my pink frilly work top and my scarf, they just laughed :angry I got the last laugh though as I have a seat and they don't
merledogs
I wanted a drink and all I had in was a bottle of vintage Bollinger which I'd had since 2004. I had a swig and it was off

Lizzie
Interesting visit to the vet this afternoon. She wanted a picture of Nico's eye to show to the specialist rather than refering him right away. Can you imagine trying to take a close up shot of a dogs eye with a digital camera? It took about 20 minutes and around 30 shots, it was hilarious. Everytime she got it focused he moved or rolled his eyes just as she clicked. Nico thought it was a game, in the end bribery with biscuits seemed to work and she got 3 or 4 good pics. Bless him, he did try to be good and sit still while I held his eye open I'm hoping there is no change over the month and he won't need any treatment, there is no raised area and no discomfort, although it is unusual, it may be fine. Fingers crossed.
gooster
Aww Nico I know how difficult it can be taking photos of people's eyes, so I can't imagine how difficult it is to take a dogs' photo

merledogs
Billy is very gorjuss (won't guess cos I've seen on FB ) Right, best go and get a shower and then get going. I have to: - pick up a prescription, take to pharmacy and get it filled - go to Asda - go to Costco - go to Morrisons. Deep joy
houndzrus
I'm hoping there is no change over the month and he won't need any treatment, there is no raised area and no discomfort, although it is unusual, it may be fine. Fingers crossed. Everything crossed here too. I've seen Billy on FB too. Gorgeous boy Today I will be shopping first, then making a birthday cake for Keith and lasagne and garlic bread for tonight's dinner. I have some lovely plum tomatoes which have just ripened, so they should be delish One of Jack's eyes is very red, and I'm not sure if it's conjunctivitis again, or glaucoma. I hope it's not glaucoma. It's only in one eye and he usually get conjunctivitis in both. I forsee (if you pardon the pun) a visit to the vet's shortly. houndzrus
Off to the vets, got an appointment for 10am. Damned shame that the eye specialist has retired, so I'm seeing the vet who was passed these cases. here's a couple of pics Fingers crossed it is only conjunctivitis. houndzrus
We're back, after a lovely consultation with Milly the vet. Lots of belly rubs, treats and generally playing to help Jack to co-operate. He must be one of the few dogs who don't want to leave the surgery Anyway, he has an infection, and has been rubbing it and making it worse. Going back on Tuesday, but as you can see, Jack is a LOT happier. He makes me laff

merledogs
He makes me laff Glad it's just conjunctivitis - I just love that Bumpy face Max also loves the vet, as soon as they touch him he rolls over for a belly rub, which makes it very difficult to examine him Marge you've inspired me to grow some stuff next summer - I don't eat a lot of veg, but am thinking strawberries, tomatoes, possibly cucumbers or lettuce. Oh and Rhubarb. I haven't eaten Rhubarb since I was a kid cos I thought I didn't like it, but I've just had a hankering for it recently (watching too many cookery programmes ) and I've just had a Rhubarb yoghurt and it was delish. I looked for Rhubarb crumble in Asda but couldn't find any. Jazz - she's not in a mug, she's in your heart RMF : Have been to Doctors, Costco and Asda and am now having Rhubarb yoghurt and honey nut cornflakes for lunch.
