merledogs Posted December 20, 2009 Report Share Posted December 20, 2009 My baby Milly wasn't well last night, and when I came down this morning she was so weak she couldn't stand up so in the end it was a straightforward decision to make. She was suffering There was a pouch of fluid in her chest and her gums were really pale (ie no pinkness at all) - vet thinks her tumour was bleeding out or else it had spread to her liver. The love and care she received from you was obvious from all your posts, and I'm sure Milly felt safe and loved to that very last, sad minute.
