Laurel n Hardy Posted February 19, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 19, 2009 nother update Lisa has a cat scan yesterday (not sure why as she had on about 3 weeks ago when she was in Christies ) Due to see the doctor today and has to have an endoscopy (at her local hospital) am not happy as they want her in today at about 3-4 ish means an overnight stay in a place i dont like (her local hospital) and then tomorrow. she is at her mums which is quite literally 6 minutes fromo the hospital, have left instructions for her and her mum to put their foots ( ) down and insist's she goes tomorrow as she will get no sleep tonight, no rest and feel crappy all day friday (and thats the last thing she needs) me not a happy bunny right now Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Laurel n Hardy Posted March 9, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 9, 2009 (edited) Please could you spare a thought for Lisa today, and also her family She was taken to the the Alexandra Hospital in Cheadle yesterday affternoon We received the new we had been dreading, that her cancer is too widespread and too aggressive to treat. We can either care for her at home (her parents home) or she can spend her last few days receiving hospice care. Whatever the decision she has days, possibly a couple of weeks at most She knows how weak she is, and is being brave, still talking about holidays later this year and that she also said she wants to be my wife. I have yet to break the news to her, and it took everything I had not to show it after I had seen the doctor in private. I want to thank you all, for all your care, concern and support during the last few months it means a great deal to Lisa, and so much to me, it's like having a very large extended family, always there when you need them most Am sitting here in bits haaving spent the nigth at her house (we were planning on moving in together this year) snuggling her cat called Pavlova. Here we are, in one of the only pics i can find of us together, in fact this may be the only picture of us together (we sort of never got round to getting lots of them taken) Also Lisa with Cliffy the mini daxi taken at Frodsham dog show last year And lastly me, with my best boy Archie, also at Frodsham last year (winning second place ) Sorry for the long post, will be offline for a while, not sure when i will be back thank you all, take care, Nige.. xxx Edited March 9, 2009 by Laurel n Hardy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
