safneo
Ange and Rob I'm sure the staff are lovely in the hospice and M-M will make all the 'guests' feel much happier when she visits. Helly, I hope your 'medicine' worked last night and your knees arent suffering today Theresa, nice to see you back. I had wondered if that was why you were absent for a while. At least you can start looking forward. Wishing you the strength to get through this difficult phase in your life. More for Henry. Keep battling you gorgeous boy. Lindsey and Bear, it must be awful to have reminders Marge, I must be a saddo to because I am exactly the same and I rarely buy new clothing of the 'normal' kind anymore. Anything I get these days is usually of the dog walking variety I have a week off work which I have been greatly looking forward to but the list of jobs I have to do is making me think I will be going back to work for a rest Yesterday I bought some of those tumble dryer balls. I left them 'on the side' for a while until I had some washing to put in. Neo has been pining for them ever since. He keeps sitting looking at the worktop longingly and gets excited everytime they are in view! Who said collies were clever?

BillyMalc
It's p*ssing down here too. Rob's gone off to do a rehearsal/gig he couldn't get out of and I'm feeling thoroughly miserable. I feel so upset for Rob's granddad and the rest of the family and completely useless. I think I am going to hide on the sofa for a bit with the dogs. to you Ange. I'm sure that Rob's Granddad and the rest of the family regard you far from useless Glad to hear that Henry is doing a bit better Mel, hope he continues to improve The sun's out and it's the most brightest, shiniest day you could possibly imagine But thanks for the heads up Helly, I'll get my stinking dog duvet out of the back of my car NOW so that it has some decent time to air and de-stink We went for a lovely walk at the Carrs. The river was very swollen, but the path still visible on the way out. The way back was a different story though; the path was completely flooded and the river was coming up fast! I was thinking of staying a bit longer, but abandoned that plan as I was worried that the floods would hit the road and then I'd be stuck with my little ford escort! Hoping that Helly's weather forecast is a bit on the cautious side, and that we can go out again this afternoon. It's a lovely walk, and the people who walk their dogs there are 'proper doggy people', i.e. the vartiety that walks their dogs in whatever the weather and doesn't mind wet, muddy paw prints I'm feeling a bit better, thanks for asking, but I'll see how I get on as the day goes on - got a feeling I've not seen the end of it yet ... Kats inc
at Benson's face..nasty Mummy making him stand in the cold wet white stuff. Oh well Di if it rains you'll have to make the ultimate sacrifice and leave the gardening and watch footy instead I have some washing on the line but I don't think it's going to be there for much longer. safneo
Thanks Di. OMG Archie and how incredibly daft is Lee I do love Rotties though. My brother used to have one and the guy over the walk way from me has one and I have to keep trying to educate him about her little 'habits'. He is a lovely bloke, loves his dog, just doesnt have a clue really. Edited October 26, 2008 by safneo
Helly
Lee spends most of his sleeping life upside down. So does archie They are all daft, not just lee although he is probably the speshull one of the pack.
merledogs
Gorjuss Hellydogs  We all went back to bed cos I was feeling really tired for some reason. Woke up at 11.30 I have been out and fenced off the grass so the dogs can't go on it any more. Had a comedy moment when the Rottie wot lives behind us barked. Normally when that happens Milly races down to the bottom of the garden to sniff the dog through the fence and growl at her She obviously didn't realise the implications of the fence being put up and raced out of the living room and slap bang into the fence
