That does sound more positive doesn't it :GroupHug:

Will continue sending healing.

Did the sickness start only after the ABs? I think I mentioned before, there's a homeopathic remedy which can reduce vomiting - nux vomica - you'd need to check it's ok with what she's taking if you're interested, but it worked fantastically when mine had to have ABs and were being sick.

Hope the mass, whatever it is, continues to reduce :flowers:

Thank you :flowers:

I have spoken to Malcolm and the news is mixed. On the plus side, the tumour has reduced in size slightly and is putting less pressure on Dolly's airway. Malcolm was able to see further into the oesophagus (sp) and the downside is that there was a "red spot" in there. Despite what the specialists were saying about the tumour unlikely to be caused by an abcess, Malcolm is leaning more towards there being a foreign body which has become infected. It would add up as the strong anti-biotics seem to be helping but long term it would need to be removed by doing a thoracotomy which would be major surgery. As Malcolm said, although it wouldn't be a small operation, the benefits of removing it would mean life should get back to normal for Dolly.

The plan now is to carry on with the anti-biotics and Metacam and Dolly will go back next week and see Nick, one of the other partners unless of course there is any sudden change. Malcolm is away for 2 weeks but will see Dolly when he is back and do new x-rays and see where we are then.

Malcolm said the vomitting could be due to pressure on the oesohpagus so I'm going to give Dolly a larger breakfast and smaller dinner as she hasn't been sick in the day, only after her evening meal.

So not altogether conclusive but not bad news either

I can go and get Dolly at about 5.30pm

Bonnys slooki had similar, one of the airways was blocked with cr*p and he used to chuck up his dinner. They managed to get it halfway sorted, he had a camera down and they managed to move a piece of bone that he'd eaten and was much better for it, so continued "feck off and shrink away to nothing" thoughts and I hope Dolly Doodles feels a bit brighter later :flowers:

And a gentle squidge for both of you :GroupHug:
