EGAR
Thanks guys, yes, I always let someone know where I am going and to call the cops if I haven't phoned in a certain time. I do know that I have a child to think of but the thought of her being there like this was too much to stomach and NOT to do something about it would have been betrayal. There has been an update from my vet. I will have to take Berni to Galway City to the ARK Vet Clinic (they have lots of specialists there one of which saved Parci the GD pup). Apparently, the injury will need specialist help . I am posting more about this tomorrow when I have a clearer picture. That also means that I need to step up the fundraising. Parci OP for example was over 1000 Euro . Berni is doing very well and is eating and grateful for ANY attention shown to her, be it only to stick a needle in her . I wont be keeping her but I WILL try to rehome her to the UK as she would be damned to a life with a muzzle here (restricted Breeds Act) and I wont be doing that to her. No way. And guys, I am GOBSMACKED! I have just checked my PayPal and the Berni Fund has reached €519.28 EUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK you all SOOOO much!!!! merledogs
Sarah you are a very brave woman, thank you so much for getting this poor girl out of there You are all stars. If anyone has an old padded dog harness in Staffie size and doesn't need it anymore, please send it to me. Berin can't wear a colaar and the harness I have are all too close to the throat... I have a spare padded harness which is Collie sized (medium) so may well fit a staffie. I will dig it out and post it to you. If it doesn't fit then just use it for another deserving doglet ETA : I have just dug out some old leads and harnesses and a couple of toys (for when she gets better and can play with them) and will get them in the post to you today.
