He is so gorgeous in the photos of him in Equus and I feel uncomfortable about having the hots for him. He's 17 and not 18 until July. He's not old enough to vote yet can appear naked on stage and simulate sex acts. I understand that there are seats on the stage too and I bet they sold out quick. Just seems creepy to me, but then so did the adult women drooling over whatsisface out of POTC (the young effeminate one). Not judging anyone by saying that, just not my cup of tea. He's young, he's good looking, he's no doubt being paid an absolute bomb to prance about in the nude and I bet lots of people, many of them pretty girls, are telling him just how wonderful he is. The interview with him I saw the other day suggested he's having a whale of a time. He may not be able to vote yet, but he's old enough to drive a car, get a full time job and get married. Its not the sort of play kids would be taken to (I hope!) and I doubt many of them take much notice of the papers..so no problems as far as I can see! Alison Bonniebird and I saw Equus last week, during previews. Yes Daniel Radcliffe does get naked, for about ten minutes at the end of a very long play and momentarily simulates a sex act, but it is during a particularly intense mental breakdown scene. I would be surprised if anyone found this scene to be erotic, more like harrowing. There are seats to the rear/above the stage, but to be honest, they're limited view where the bulk of the play is acted towards the front and frankly a waste of money. Regarding his age, as has been said, he can legally have sex, drive a car etc and if the play was pornographic, which I didn't consider it to be, then his age may be of contention.
