ive done all that. ive gone out the front door, come back in. she starts as soon as I put my shoes on in the hall. I walk back in the room she shuts up. musics on. cant put anything other than chews in her crate as she will thread it round the bars of the crate and bend them. even with chews she barks. and leaves the chews. I ignore her, I don't get ready till shes in the crate so that doesn't wind her up. ive tried drugs, sonic things. in a sense it would be easier to send her back, but what then? what if she moans mouse barks for a few minutes? I cant take the others out ever again while luna is here? im so upset

Jazz leave a recording device on if you have one or can get one to see how bad Luna is - or not as the case maybe.  The neighbour might be making it all up or exaggerating it.

Next door's dog barks constantly when my neighbour goes out. I can switch off from it but it does annoy me when she goes out for many hours mainly because the poor dog is obviously distressed. I've spoken to her about separation anxiety and what to do but she's a lazy mare and not inclined to put the work in.  Fortunately the neighbour doesn't go out all that much.

Jazz you've just posted whilst I was writing this. I know it's upsetting but don't let yourself get too low about it. Could you possibly take Luna out with you, under the guise of an emotional support dog?

It's very spring like today.

I know they can only hear her if they are at the front kitchen window, the living room is at the back. but I also know they are serial moaners. mother and adult daughter living together. she doesn't bark the whole time im out. but most of it. the others join in. I suppose being in most of the time doesn't help, so she doesn't like it when I go out. she has to be in the crate or she would wreck the place, she trys if im in the loo. my son says ignore the cow, but because im mentally vulnerable, it sticks in my head. I put off going out because of her moaning, if I do, I get annoyed on the way home that she will moan, like today.

Jazz, just lie and say your friend was in whilst you went out...I am sure one of your friends would say they were there. I know here a dog has to bark for 20mins solid without break before they will act...and that's the same dog barking, if it's not a regular thing I wouldn't worry about it...wait until she makes it official

No Jazz, mine is fine.  Hope yours sorts out soon.   Very cold start here, the car was very frozen but so was the ground so Philip let Candy have a good run over the field before he went to work.

Got my ultrasound at 3pm today.  I was reading the letter that came with the appointment and it said please note we do not usually give results at the time, they will be with your GP within 10 days.  It didn't say never..so I'm going to ask if they will please tell me.  They will know straight away whether it's something dodgy or not, and I'll point out to them that the worst thing about having cancer (apart from having cancer in the first place!) is having to wait for scan results.  Hopefully, they'll be kind and tell me and not make me wait.

when ive had them, they can tell me if they see anything nasty, but not the whole report as its sent off to be scrutinised with a specialist. ive got a heart scan next month. the last one was as my grandson was being born, so the man was surprised when I could remember date and time lol
