Ruby travels 1st class with work on long hauls and has had some fabulous flights. Her favourite was on Thai airways,

Nice outcome to your plans Owl. Enjoy your visit to the castle. I'm very pleased to hear that those dogs have gone back to their homes safely.

Very grey and overcast here today and rather gusty!

Everyone has gone very quiet. How very dare you all have lives! LOL.

Archie is seeing the vet in the morning before I go to the dentist so it will be a busy morning. Tomorrow the weather is supposed to pick up.

Met a friend in the park, he and his wife are auntie and uncle to Archie as they looked after him for us when he was a puppy. Archie adores them both. Anyway this friend was telling me that their 26 year old daughter has been diagnosed with 2 brain aneurysms both of unusual shapes, unusual for someone of 26 and both in places in the brain where operating is difficult. The doctors have admitted to having no experience of this type of aneurysm and have had to send the scans to a specialist in Paris. What a difficult time for them all not least their daughter. When she first went to A&E with a murderous migraine the doctor gave her a dressing down for coming in with "just" a headache. It meant she went another 2 weeks in pain & misery without seeking medical help for fear she was wasting a doctors time :(

they kept telling me in A&E my bad stomachs was infection of the stomach lining or I was constipated. nope

my neighbour went to the doctors, couldn't swallow, eat or drink, got told tonsillitis, have ABs. 4 days later she goes back. shes now in hospital with quinsy (sp) on a drip

I was waiting for one of you to chat, but couldn't wait any longer lol

ooo Quinsy, the nurse at our Drs had that...she was proper ill, lost 2 stone in weight

Yantan, hope your friends daughter will be o.k....i would deffo be putting in a complaint, just so somebody doesn't get over looked again...yes it's rare but even so there could be somebody else in the same situation

Awww bless the fosters, bet they just think they are on a holiday

Yantan, sorry to hear about friend's daughter. Quite inexcusable that doctor told her off. as a persistent extreme headache is a serious symptom. Thinking of her and also of Jazz's neighbour.

I have been out all day going round some of the other reserves run by Notts Wildlife Trust, as I am now on the sheep team as a driver. Very interesting, and we stopped to eat our packed lunch beside the lake at Newstead Abbey as we have sheep there.
