Yantan
That contract period is passing quickly Murtle! I've just had a little hold of the DW'er's baby, Evie. What a gorjuss little girl she is and so well trained - she smiles on command! Anyway they've all gone off for a little there and back walk along the lake shore. It's a gobsmackingly beautiful day

Whizzie
I have 4 weeks left of my contract, so will have to work out what interesting words I can use for comparing spreadsheets for my CV!!! That would be "advanced statistical analysis" then with perhaps some "trend interpretation" and "using past performance to predict future behavior patterns" thrown in the mix! Highly skilled stuff!

gooster
4 days down, 2 to go Still not got a home for my old 3 piece suite - at this rate am going to have to pay for the delivery guys to remove it
Yantan
Gooster try a charity shop for getting rid of your 3 piece. Not your Barnadoes or Oxfam type -there are specialist types which provide furniture for people who can't afford to buy new around and they will come and pick it up. You might find an organisation like The Salvation Army will have such a facility in your area for example.
suzeanna
Our local hospice has a used furniture shop...I take it you tried Freecycle and Freegle? The council will take it but you have to pay.
gooster
Charity shops won't have it as it doesn't have the fire proof label as it is really old
