Evening all :flowers:

Hope everyone is having a good weekend

Been to the allotment today, wasn't as much to do as I thought there might be after a 3 week gap. Did about 5 hours up there and have come home with lots of food for tonights dinner and the rest of the week

Hope you get it sorted Griff :flowers:

Jazz, me thinks you should go to the doctors with your hips :GroupHug:

Just been into Thomas cook to book my holiday. The woman was that unhelpful and disinterested, that I got up and walked out. Am going to use the coop, as when I went in there, the woman was really helpful and actually spoke to me!! Even though the coop is more expensive, would rather pay more and get good customer service!!

thanks, i am getting past the point of caring to be honest,5 specialists have told me they can't help me and i will get worse and not better and if that isn't good enough well there is nothing i can do to convince anyone.

Jazz :GroupHug: painful hips are nasty, i hope they feel better soon.

could somebody tell my cat that night time is not a good time to be tormenting the dogs

I look even more disreputable than usual, as a dead hawthorn branch fell off a tree and on to my nose while I was crawling through the undergrowth on a golf course (as you do). Superficial cuts and a nice blue bump.

My auntie aged 86 is having another go at getting attendance allowance, which she would be entitled to use for a cleaner and general help. She was refused 3 months ago on the grounds that although she is so unsteady on her feet and would normally qualify, she has amassed rather a lot of furniture so can hang on to that when she is in danger of falling over. She now has someone to help plead her case, and has been diagnosed with Parkinsons so maybe that will make the authorities reconsider.

Oi Griffcat stop that NOW.

RMF : I have read the first three chapters of Twilight and I admit it, I'm addicted.

I loved reading Twilight, made me feel young again

:GroupHug: Griff

My mum and dad came to visit today  , they have not been for three months due to my dad breaking his thumb :( The dogs had missed them    (even though dad doesn't like dogs  ).

We have been to the curry house this evening for one last splash out before we tighten our belts  . Darren starts his new job on Monday :).

I've not ventured into Twilight yet. I'm deeply immersed in True Blood, been watching season 4 online, last but one episode will be up early Monday morning. I don't really watch proper telly much so I was wondering what I'd watch once it's finished for the year but season 3 of Vampire Diaries starts a few days later so that's me sorted  TB season 4 has been amazing, just as good as season 1. Roll on next June because I think Dennis O'Hare is back as Russell Edgington for season 5 and I loved him in season 3.

"Mine is the true face of vampire! Why would we seek equal rights? You are not our equals. We will eat you after we eat your children. Now time for the weather. Tiffany?"

Thanks Cheryl. I've been using Videobb but can only watch 72 mins and then have to wait. I'm two series behind and trying to catch up so I can watch it on TV when new series comes back on. I'll have a look at linky tomorrow :flowers:

Can't believe summer holidays are over already. Andy is back to school on Monday. Luckily he loves school and has been counting the days for the last three weeks  I, on the other hand, am not looking forward to getting up at 8am (which is probably the middle of the day in comparison to some around here)
