February's Fascinating Fandangles

This is going to sound crazy but.....

I took Cliffy & Tessie out the back for a wee about half an hour ago, just before I fed them. Lot of cloud out blocking most of the stars, but as I looked up at the moon a large piece of cloud broke away, and it looked just like Archie with his face all fluffy and in need of a brush, I saw his eyes, nose, head shape and even the fur all stuck up and looking like the little bear he was, looking right down on me.

I felt really happy and said hello I love you bear, and right now the tears are back.

this is what i saw (head only) but from the right hand side not the left

Nige - tht doesn't sound crazy at all - very lovely.

Merledogs - I seems to have collected your sleeping patterns (lack of). Would you like them back please.

Tigger and Daisy are doing the "Mum's up again so something really must be happening this time" ............ but are really not at all convinced that this is the correct time on a Sunday morning to be awake. Just put my third load of washing in - so that means it will definitely rain today!

Morning :wavey:

Hope your ribs are better soon Phebe Group_Hug_Emoticon.gif Glad to hear your mum has started her eyedrops again flowers.gif

Mrs B - I think I must have your sleeping pattern cos I slept for nearly 8 hours ohmy.gif I don't want it back thanks, can you pass it onto someone else? unsure.gif

Nige - as long as you found comfort in it, then that's what matters flowers.gif

The spring weather and doing some gardening yesterday made me feel all warm and fuzzy. Today it's windy and wet but hey-ho, can't have everything. Next time we have a dry weekend I really must get the jet wash on the paving, it's disgusting at the moment.

Went back to bed and lay awake until Mr B's alarm went off at 6. Then promptly fell asleep, had two vivid dreams before Mr B brought my mug of tea up. Now I'm awake and trying to wash cushion covers!

OK, so who would like batty sleep patterns and dreams next. Highest bidder can make a donation to a Rescue of their choice!

morning all

I slept all night, just getting up for a wee as usual.

freddie has decided in his senile wisdom, that although lewis is sleeping in the living room, and will let him out when he needs it, he will then keep barking till I come down. Ive tryed not coming down, but the neighbours will be having words as its 7am onwards. he did have a lie in today ...bless ... and I came down at 8.30

then, silence from him ... little ........ ....... mmmmmm

Morning :flowers:

Such a busy weekend here, I am a bit

collected shed, which is in the van ready to take to the allotment today. Ordered two tons of gravel for the landscaping were doing on the front garden. Finished the groundwork and then went to West Bromich to see Keith's friend play in a support group to a queen tribute band. As I had had no sleep since Friday, I was so tired by the time we got home.

Pity it's raining, it will be quite muddy when we drop the shed off, then we're off to Newark to collect a 1000 litre water container I got from Ebay. Gosh, my life is so exciting

Vey sad news re puppies, Anyone who follows us on Facebook knows how a great group of people managed to shut down a meeting place for BYB,

Sadly the same Scumbag set up another one for "rehoming" animals. When an advert for free puppies goes on he deletes it quick and goes round to collect the poor pups. Within an hour of him grabbing these they were on Gumtree and his facebook page for £80 each.

So even though rescue space was found and a good future within their grasp it was snatched away.

If you look on Swansea Gumtree for the lurcher pups and then google the phone number it comes up with a list of puppies he has had in the last year. Ive complained to Gumtree so if the ads gone I will happily forward hard evidence to anyone who wants to help stop him.

That's awful Lesley :(

Had a lovely (if windy and wet) walk with the mutts. Beau's paw, which he was limping on yesterday and hence I kept him on lead for most of the walk, miraculously cured itself as soon as he got out of the car. On the way back to the car we bumped into Holly-poopie (the ickle collie we met yesterday) and I had lots of snuggles and poopie nose licks wub.gif

RMF : Am having cheesy scrammy eggs and toast for breakfast biggrin.gif

Trallwm farm...... that is awful   i do hope Gumtree stop him from advertising, i just hope the poor pups get good homes.

Houndzrus, it is very soggy today so i reckon your water container will be put to good use

Mrs B i hope you can get back to "normal" sleep patterns soon, i am evil when i have a lack of sleep.

Merledogs, i know what you mean about paving slabs.... ours are covered in green stuff and they were only cleaned a few months back.

got my appointment through for seeing my specialist again, he told me he would see me in 8 weeks..... he must have changed is mind as i am going in 4 weeks now, i am not ringing up and saying anything though.... means i get sorted out quicker

Hope you get your lugs sorted soon to Griff :flowers:

"a bit muddy" was an understatement at the allotment today, so glad I took waterproof leggings, overcoat and big gloves, though I did slip in the ditch a couple of times!

Ohh, the water thingy is HUGE  It is in a metal cage and I never gave a thought to how we would get it in and out of the van. Had some help from the seller, but Keith has asked a friend to lift it at the allotment. It will have to be carried shoulder high down a narrow path and my hands just don't have the strength for it. :(
