snow
RMQ has anyone been to Nados for a meal? If so can you tell me if their "chicken wings" are really wings as opposed to the mini drumstick things some places call wings but aren't really

blackmagic
:GroupHug: for poorly peoples :GroupHug: i have a question and i hope someone knows the answer before i make a t*t of myself i need to get the dog an item that is available only on prescription from a human pharmacy.... it says i need either a private prescription or NHS prescription..... if i get my vet to give me a prescription can i go to say boots and get them to order the stuff??? trust me to get the awkward bl**dy dog It certainly used to work that way. Your vet should be able to advise you.
merledogs
Morning I had a dreadful night's sleep, woke up at midnight screaming "Nooooooo" at the top of my voice because I was having a nightmare the dogs had been stolen, then I woke up intermittently because I was really hot. Finally woke at 4 and have just been laying there trying to get back to sleep but not been able to.
merledogs
RMQ: Am I bonkers to even consider doing a law degree next? Probably a moot point cos my employer would never fund it. I could always do an MSc in purchasing but I doubt they would fund that either. Or I could just stop studying and get my life back
Whizzie
I did a combined honours degree in Accounancy & Law (a long time ago now!). I didn't pursue the law because after a 3 year degree you had to go on to law school for more studies before you were really eligible to use it. I guess it depends if the study is for interest or to use in employment because if the latter, you need even more than the degree!
merledogs
Whizzie : It's part of my job, I'm a Buyer so I negotiate and set up contracts as part of that. We do have a standard agreement which we use, but obviously there are amendments to that as it's rare that a supplier will accept our Terms and Conditions, plus I write all the SLAs and any other additional bits and occasionally I have to redo contracts which other parts of the business have set up (and which I won't sign my name to). I have studied contract law at foundation level and am currently doing the graduate level contract law module, which provides me with what I need, but I enjoy the contract law part of it and I would like to be a contract law specialist.
