I have booked tickets to go and see Romeo and Juliet the ballet in Birmingham  I have never been to a ballet. Now I am wondering if I have to dress up posh like or can I just put some clean jeans and nice top on? Dont want to arrive to find they all dressed up in posh frocks and I look like I have been walking the dogs!

No wellies!

i have a question and i hope someone knows the answer before i make a t*t of myself

i need to get the dog an item that is available only on prescription from a human pharmacy.... it says i need either a private prescription or NHS prescription..... if i get my vet to give me a prescription can i go to say boots and get them to order the stuff??? trust me to get the awkward bl**dy dog

It certainly used to work that way.

Your vet should be able to advise you.

Morning :tired: I had a dreadful night's sleep, woke up at midnight screaming "Nooooooo" at the top of my voice because I was having a nightmare the dogs had been stolen, then I woke up intermittently because I was really hot. Finally woke at 4 and have just been laying there trying to get back to sleep but not been able to.

I did a combined honours degree in Accounancy & Law (a long time ago now!). I didn't pursue the law because after a 3 year degree you had to go on to law school for more studies before you were really eligible to use it.

I guess it depends if the study is for interest or to use in employment because if the latter, you need even more than the degree!

Whizzie : It's part of my job, I'm a Buyer so I negotiate and set up contracts as part of that. We do have a standard agreement which we use, but obviously there are amendments to that as it's rare that a supplier will accept our Terms and Conditions, plus I write all the SLAs and any other additional bits and occasionally I have to redo contracts which other parts of the business have set up (and which I won't sign my name to). I have studied contract law at foundation level and am currently doing the graduate level contract law module, which provides me with what I need, but I enjoy the contract law part of it and I would like to be a contract law specialist. :flowers:

I would have thought the vet would get it for you unsure.gif, mine does, the law ( in Scotland anyway) is that human med's can be prescribed for animals as long as there's no animal specific alternative, in which case the vet is obliged by law to prescribe the animal version.

RMQ has anyone been to Nados for a meal? If so can you tell me if their "chicken wings" are really wings as opposed to the mini drumstick things some places call wings but aren't really

Oh yes yes yes, I have been and very tasty it was too, but I didn't have chicken wings either.

starting my day yelling fcuk ow! fcuk ow! fcuk ow!

I thought that said fcuk OWL ! unsure.giflaugh.gif...poor Owl wacko.gif

Anybody else been watching Adventure Vet ? isn't he great biggrin.gif, wonder if he'll ever show up at Dogstar unsure.gif, last night he was in Nepal where he treated a TM and what looked like a TM cross, which made me realise how spoilt Ben is .
