Brenda Posted June 25, 2009 Report Share Posted June 25, 2009 My son, Adam, has just finished a double degree at Cardiff university in English Literature and music. We found out yesterday that he got a 2:1!!! He is delighted and we are very proud, he has worked so hard and doing a joint honours course is not easy. With that grade he can now apply to do a Post Grad in music performance and research. He plays the french horn and would eventually like to play professionally in an orchestra. The only downside for us is that he is applying to universities in Australia, a fantastic opportunity for him, but we will miss him so much. Let's hope we win the lottery as sadly we couldn't afford it. But as Laurel n Hardy said the world is closer thanks to phone, email, webcam, etc. Obviously gets his talent from his mum!!
