Brenda Posted December 29, 2008 Report Share Posted December 29, 2008 I thought it was about time I introduced you to Poppy, she is our *foster* baby greyhound. She and her siblings were a cruelty case rescued in Ireland by DAWG (Dog Action Welfare Group), You can read their story on the SWT forum. We collected Poppy from Bristol 2 weeks ago and she has settled in really well. She gets on brilliantly with Caleb, to see them running around the garden together is fantastic. They play well together in the house and sleep together! Rudy likes to be left alone and after a few growls from him she has learnt that he isn't to be messed with! However, he is more tolerant than I thought he might be. The toilet training is going well, she has her 2nd vaccination tomorrow, so hopefully we will be able to take her out soon. Laura very kindly made her a couple of beautiful collars. I really can't imagine she will be going anywhere, she is so happy, cuddly, well behaved, perfect really!
