merledogs Posted November 29, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 29, 2008 (edited) Oh gawd, you've all made me cry again now Max snuggled up to me on the sofa all night then we went to bed at 9ish and he snuggled right up to me under the covers He seemed to be in some pain or discomfort or maybe it was just because he feels so unwell, but he kept groaning and he was shivering every now and then, even though it was warm under the covers. We slept back to back and he kept me awake for several hours but eventually he settled down and had a good sleep. He has just had his tablets wrapped in half a dozen slices of chicken and he's also had a small breakfast, which again he was reluctant to take at first. He had a massive wee first thing which had quite a lot of blood in it, but when I rang the vets the nurse I spoke to said that when they have a blood transplant, it can come out in the wee. I have asked for a vet to ring me just to be on the safe side cos I also want to ask if I can give him Metacam when he seems to be in pain.
